10 YEARS OF THE HOT SEAT! 🫨 Today marks a very special business birthday as we turn 10! 🎂🎁 They say time flies when you’re having fun and I can honestly say I absolutely love my job so it has flown by! I am so passionate about this industry and will never stop learning and trying to better myself to be able to leave my mark. Being able to meet so many different people and give them the hair confidence they deserve is the cherry on the cake 😘 A massive thank you to every single person who has sat in the hot seat over the years, I truly appreciate each and every one of you. Without all of you I wouldn’t be where I am today and getting to live out my wildest hair dreams! I have achieved so much in the last ten years, from awards and ambassadorships to salons and getting to travel around the world for work - but believe me when I say, I am just getting started! 😏🙌🏼 A special thank you to @victoriaremicachet and the @remicachet team for the opportunities you have brought me over the years. Phase 1 reveal! 🥂✨ After a gruelling 9 weeks renovating, hidden problems to overcome, stress, tantrums, sleepless nights, no days off and a LOT of hard work - I finally had my first day in our brand new salon today! 😭 Hope everyone likes the new vibe, I wanted to create a warm and inviting space that makes you feel relaxed and instantly at home 🥰 Thank you so much to everyone who has helped me along the journey and for everyone’s kind messages, cards and gifts - I really appreciate you all so much 🖤 So sorry to any messages I have missed over the last couple of months, lack of content and being an absent friend 😅, some things had to take a backseat so I could prioritise getting the salon to a state where I was able to work in it from today. Every day is a school day… 🤣 Well since I accidentally smacked a door into my poor mother’s hand the other day and broke her knuckle, she has had to attempt to teach me how to wallpaper today - I learn by watching, not listening So god bless her as I’m not the best student 😅. I’m chuffed with our team work on treatment room 1 so far, obviously not finished yet but did the “easier” parts today if you can call them that 💀. I should probably wait to show full transformations but I don’t have any other content to post at the moment, I have still been working behind the chair but I haven’t had the mental capacity to even create any hair content. Lights, socket and dimmer switch all sorted thanks to my electrician. Floors all sanded back and stained by Liam at @northumberlandfloorsanding 🔥 Just need the right bulbs in, wallpaper the awkward chimney breast with the same paper then the wall to the right has another wallpaper going up 🥰 T-minus 10 days till opening, fair to say my stress levels are through the roof 🙃 #hairextensions #shhair #shhairne #alnwick #northumberland #hairextensionsuk #salonrenovation #newsalon #salondecor #renovation

Stock / content room pretty much done, my @remicachet hair brush wall is up - just needing the benches covered then finito, at least thats one room in the new salon nearly complete… Just another 7 rooms to do and move everything over in 2 weeks, Help! 🥴🫣 Joiner was in doing the doors today and tomorrow, lights arriving this weekend, paint for downstairs partially arrived, wallpaper for upstairs is here, outside paint getting done next week, signs booked to be done before opening 🙌🏼 Still need paint for upstairs, a kitchen, bathroom, carpet for the stairs and flooring for the kitchen & bathroom, then pretty much all decor. SURPRISE… I’m on the move! 😜 After a long few months I can reveal I finally have the keys to the brand new SH Hair! 🍾😭 I am so excited to announce I am taking over the old simply flowers building - just a minutes walk from our current location. I will be based on the ground floor and also have an upstairs. The plan is to be a hub for like minded hair / beauty / wellness talent with a couple of rentable rooms, then potentially adding a chair rental or two further down the line - so if you are or know someone on the look out for a new place to excel, drop me a DM for more info! 👏🏽 It is currently a state as you can see from the video and it is going to take a LOT of work to get it up to the standard you know and expect from SH Hair, but be sure I will be bringing you along on the journey with me so I’m sure that will keep you all entertained 🥴. Can’t wait to get to the decorating stage, think Mediterranean/ japandi vibes 🌞✨ Honestly the last few months have been nothing but stress - I first viewed the premises back at the beginning of April and we were supposed to complete in May which has been delayed and delayed. My current lease ends in only 9 weeks so there is a crazy few months ahead 🤣. I fell in love with this new space as soon as I stepped foot inside and I’m sure you will too! Ideally it was all supposed to be complete in time for the beginning of October but these delays unfortunately mean that it will now probably need to be completed in phases due to lining up trades and running a fully booked diary at the same time. Almost 10 years in industry has led me to this moment, believe me when I say it has not been without it’s ups and downs (and I expect there are a lot more still to come 😅) but I do think everything happens for a reason so I am super excited for this next big leap of faith and can’t wait to see you all sat in a brand new hot seat! 🙊🙌🏼 …oh yeah and new branding! 😍 Heres to the next chapter 🍾 Stephen x #shhair #hairextensions #hairextensionsuk #alnwick #northumberland #hairextensionsalon #northeastsalon #shhairne
