THE LAST TRIBE — Proof of Concept

A 5-minute cinematic mood film for a feature project first written in 2008.

Not a trailer.

A first journey into a world that has existed on paper for nearly two decades.

Created in two days using a fully AI-driven production pipeline to explore tone, scale and cinematic language before the film exists.

The feature is currently seeking development and production partners

I recently revisited The Last Migration and created a longer, more intimate director’s cut. The original version was screened at a Kling/Prompt Club event in Paris and later at AI on the Lot in Los Angeles.

This new cut slows down. It breathes more. It lingers in the spaces between memories. An old man. A remote coastline. A lighthouse. The ghosts of a life once lived.

I’ve always believed that technology is at its best when it becomes invisible. When it stops being the subject and simply becomes a tool to tell something human.

For me, The Last Migration is not about AI.

It’s about memory. About loss. About love. And about the traces we leave behind. Probably my most personal film so far.

Girl of the Moon 🌙 A girl returns from the sea after eleven years. Everyone remembers a different girl. A personal series project about memory, grief, and the stories we tell ourselves to survive. Music by the very talented Anna Palfreeman.

I'm thrilled to share a sneak peek of my new short film, "El Rey de la Montaña", created for the @dreamina_ai AI contest for the Annecy Festival. It’s a mockumentary about a young Andean boy who disrupts his village's ancestral breeding contest by teaching their prize alpaca how to play high-altitude basketball on a brutal 30-degree slanted dirt court. No sports brands. No real-world logos. Just pure, high-altitude, fluffy zone defense. Done in a single day, just hours before the submission closed 😊

AARON Awards - Ad of the Week

There are automotive films. And then there are automotive films that make other automotive films look easy.

This week’s pick celebrates 100 years of the Maserati Trident, and what makes it remarkable is not just the craft on screen, but the sheer technical ambition behind it.

Multiple generations of Maserati vehicles share the frame throughout the film, each requiring meticulous modelling, look development, lighting and animation. Automotive work is notoriously unforgiving. Every reflection, every surface transition and every highlight has to be perfect. Doing that across a single hero vehicle is difficult enough. Doing it across an entire century of iconic cars is something else entirely.

What makes the piece even more impressive is that it combines CG and AI within a sophisticated hybrid production workflow. The technology is almost beside the point. What matters is the level of craft required to bring so many iconic vehicles together seamlessly and convincingly in the same world. There are no shortcuts here. Every frame still demands artistic judgement, technical precision and an obsessive attention to detail.

The result feels appropriately timeless. A film that honours the heritage of the Trident while demonstrating what world-class hybrid production looks like in 2026.

Congratulations to the teams at Armando Testa and Mathematic Studio. This is a masterclass in automotive storytelling and technical execution.

Directed by @brunodetante & @stephane_again

👏 Credits to the incredible team at Mathematic Studio led by Guillaume Marien, Augustin Vernier and the many artists, animators, compositors and VFX specialists who brought this ambitious project to life.

My latest film was screened across two continents this past week, premiering with @klingai_official AI and @promptclub.ai Club in France before landing yesterday at @aionthelot on the Lot in Hollywood. Pushing Kling's new 4K model to capture raw, moody, and deeply atmospheric textures was an incredible creative challenge. When the tools fade away, only the emotion remains. Thank a lot Tony Pu for the invitation & the prompt club crew for making this possible 😊 _ vimeo 4K here: https://lnkd.in/egvD-ATk #Kling #AIontheLot #promptclub

走り屋 — Hashiriya.
The one who runs at night.

First entirely text-to-video short movie for me. Not a single image crafted. Not a single frame retouched. "Just" the creative direction built upstream with Claude and the prompts as the only tool of mise en scène.

New territory for me. I usually control every pixel. Here I learned to direct differently through language. Each prompt written as a directorial decision: camera position, light temperature, grain, character physicality, sound design. 22 shots. Zero music. Only sound design.

The first time I've brought everything that defines me into a single film. Japan. Tokyo at night, Drift & Skate 😊

No music. Urethane wheels on wet concrete. Tires screaming in the interchange. A 4AGE engine starting from the inside. And one moment, one beat of absolute silence where a human body becomes a car.

ECHOES OF US

This short film was made as part of Google's Flow Sessions @googleflow , an artist program at Google where a small group of creatives gets access to Flow, collaborates directly with the Google team and brings a passion project to life

It started from something personal. The loss of my daughter. I didn’t try to tell that story directly. I let it shift. A father moving through a world that behaves like memory.
Not searching for what is gone,
but for what remains. Because as long as we keep searching, something is still alive.

Thank you to the Google team for this experience, @briannadoyle @nyenver
for your kindness, your listening,
and the space you created to let us express ourselves ❤️

And to the other artists for the energy, the exchange, and what we built together 🙏
And to the mentors for the feedback, the guidance, and the perspective along the way

AI can make it feel like a solitary process.
But this was the opposite. It was shared.
In ideas, in emotions, in moments. That’s what I’ll keep from this great experience.
