3AM SMASH! brain dump coz I'm sick and can't sleep! Yet again, SMASH was both overwhelming and amazing... I went in, hoping to be braver (less introverted) this year, and totally... failed HAHA, but I tried, so I can't be mad about it tbh. It helps give smol motivations for next year on how I may continue to develop my ideal con experience. I still met a handful of new people, re-met mutuals, and put faces to online handles (an ongoing battle ahah). I honestly couldn't ask for more. I'm very thankful to all those who said hi, and find myself frequently hit in the feels for how kind and welcoming everyone is, especially for busy Aus+ friends making time to catch up, even if only for a second. It was fun being in awe of fellow photogs, empathising with other photog insecurities, familiar faces, and seeing so many fav charas. All these little facets made it so damn special. Thank you! (*´꒳`*) Goals for next year include: ⭐️Improve camera skills (the more I think technically. The worse I get tho lol). 🌟Organise a few location shoots with friends. ⭐️More sneaky bts footage of photog friends. 🌟Not everything has to be a photoshoot. Take selfies and candid snaps!
