✨The Enchanted Eel✨

Inspired by the Dallit, a mythical guardian in Igorot folklore believed to protect the sacred waters of the land. In the depths of Gawaan Lake in Tadian, a great eel once rose to block the draining of its waters. A powerful reminder that nature is not ours to conquer, but to honor.

Guided by the Igorot principle of Inayan, a teaching of respect and responsibility, this costume symbolizes the sacred duty to protect our rivers, springs, and lakes.

For in Mountain Province, water is not only a resource, it is sacred.
