I am grateful and honored to have been selected as 1 of the 4 Greater New Orleans students to participate in the American Heart Association Historically Black Colleges and Universities Program for the 2022-2023 academic year.

I am so excited and extremely blessed that the American Heart of Association has given me such a great opportunity to not only represent the illustrious Xavier University of Louisiana, but also to further my passion in medicine.

I thank God for blessing me. I couldn’t have asked for anything better for my junior year. The journey has been amazing thus far as I strive to create a more diverse healthcare system for the inclusion of all communities.
