What if nature wins? It looks like this. When Jill @eclectichive shared a memory of an empty and possibly abandoned Parisian atelier, we began thinking about artist studios, fabric, and what installations could live inside them. If the studio was abandoned, what’s the natural conclusion of the tale? In our minds, it became “Nature wins”. Trees pushing through walls and ceilings and floors, nature getting to embrace the artist’s work too. The creation of L’Atelier de Matiére is a night we’ll never forget. Some things just are not in the contract. We were out of town this week on a job. A thousand miles from home. And there were moments, things that needed adjusting, details that needed attention, that nobody would have known about if we had just let them go. Don’t let them go. I believe in what we create. Step into our world | Vintage Retro Christmas Maximalism Ornament Exchange is where tradition gets a twist. This year’s celebration reimagined nostalgic holiday charm through a maximalist, mid-century lens. Inspired by 1950s–60s retro design, the palette played with what we like to call Dunlin green, alongside matcha, cherry red, and pink. The tent was split into two distinct moods: one channeling the magic of a childhood Christmas with poinsettias, snow globes, and (of course) Santa Claus... the other leaning into whimsical touches like tinseled chandeliers, feathered lamps and a retro band brought the fantasy to life.
