For the hunters, Conservation Collier offers hunting opportunities exclusively to Collier County residents. There are multiple hog, deer, and turkey hunts each year that you can apply for through the Conservation Collier website. They are all high quality hunts administered by really great county staff. There are also hiking trails open to the public and camping opportunities. Check it out!

Happy 30th birthday Alec!

I know if you were here we’d be spearfishing, hunting, smoking some wild game all day, or going somewhere special. Instead we’ll be cheersing to your memory tonight, and we certainly have a lifetime full of them despite your time being cut short. Even though I’m your older brother, you have left an example for me to not take life or those I love for granted. The sadness still creeps in daily, reminding me I can’t just call you or drop by to see you. But these days I don’t have to endure it for long until I remember that you’re just waiting for me and everyone else who loves you. I wish I could have seen you grow old, have children of your own, and build a life with all of your God given gifts. But I see how God has used you in my life and all those whose lives you were a part of. I’m so grateful to have had you in my life brother, i thank God for it every day in my prayers, I miss you more than I knew I could, i love you, happy birthday!
