Oddly enough, buying prescription glasses in Japan was one of my favourite things to while I was there! @regol.art and I found the perfect pairs at @eyemirror_official , a shop in Ikebukuro which offered a large variety of products, including collaborations with anime series 🩷 I was treated like a princess and I also had my sight checked, just in case 👀 Would you buy glasses like this?

There’s a lot of gorgeous locations where to shoot, but of course most of the times you cannot have them for yourself! I always try to embrace my awkwardness and feel fine with getting stared at 🫡

Little bit of venting here, I just want people to feel safe and understood.

In an environment where (mostly) people are requested to be perfect, fun and entertaining, it is often taken for granted that cosplayers might not suffer of some sort of illnesses. Some of them are not visible, the pain is all inside.

I am one of those cosplayers that tend to find distractions in cosplaying, but I must admit that during some conventions I felt out of place because of my symptoms or worse, I could not attend because of them.

You are not alone. Do not feel like you’re different because of this.

And as someone wise once said, there is beauty in imperfection 🩷
