So this is me and my transformation… no I’m not special, no I’m not the biggest, no I’m not the best… but this is the best version of me!!

After getting back into training following a number of years neglecting it and suffering with a couple of bouts of pneumonia.

I took the decision in July 2023 that just lifting weights and eating what I liked, was no longer good enough. To reach my personal goals and deliver the best version of me, I needed someone who could assist me.

What I required was a structured plan, that was easy to follow and someone who could make the necessary tweaks required. Which took the pressure off me and left me free to eat, train and focus on other areas of my life mentally, whilst also giving me accountability.

The man I turned to was none other than @jakewatts_amp and @amplified_nutrition - he has provided me with all the tools I needed, whilst being the best coach I have worked with. Jake has supported me and championed me through the whole process. His communication and interpersonal skills are second to none and he also cares about the journey people undertake.

I can’t thank Jake enough… if you want to deliver on your goals, honestly you need to reach out to him.

This is my story to date, but is only chapter one for us…

Amazing to meet the main man @trainedbyjp today at the opening of @tbjpxshedofficial

Jordan has done so much for bodybuilding and recognised by many as a living legend. His ability to move forward come what may, in all walks of life is amazing.

I particularly enjoy his no BS approach to bodybuilding and gaining muscle. Mainly just get ***king lean and then push up 30/40/50lbs of good quality weight and then rinse and repeat.

After finally listening, this lead to me personally getting a coach (@jakewatts_amp who is fantastic) and starting my own journey to a better me. Currently 26kilos down and loving it. I’ve never looked better or leaner and can’t wait for the push up.

Thank you @trainedbyjp for everything you do for the Industry, we appreciate you.

Met @hollingshead89 today at the opening of @tbjpxshedofficial

James is a great bloke and this was a special moment for me personally. I remember getting back into lifting a couple years ago, having never truly followed anyone in #bodybuilding before.

James was the first BB I truly resonated with and started following, he was also the first BB I watched compete, when he won the Europa Pro in 2020.

Thank you for taking the time to chat briefly and good luck at this year’s Arnold UK. Keep being you and inspiring others to be the best version of themselves.

Journal check in no one asked for… 😂

Well that’s kind of tough and this is my journal, so here we are… 106.5kg as of this morning, far tighter and honestly the first check in for a long time I’ve liked.

I can see some genuine improvements in my physique and I’m pleased about that. Am I perfect no… but that’s the point! Are there things I’m going to work towards… for sure and that’s the beauty, it’s all just a journey.

2 years ago, I was the best I’ve ever looked and now I feel like I look bigger and better, even if I’m not as lean yet…

This is all down to the guidance and support of @jakewatts_amp who keeps me ticking along and kicks me when I need it. His support and advice to his clients is second to none!!

The freedom and joy that comes from riding a motorcycle are truly unmatched. The chance to see nature and be at one with man, machine and nature is incredible… combined with the camaraderie and friendships you create along the way, it becomes something almost indescribable!!

Well she’s back together, remapped and trinkets added… couple more to go!! Will do another post about them…

Can’t help but sit here on a day off drinking coffee and appreciating how stunning she looks, as well as how satisfying it is to see your hard work pay off.

That said I’m never taking my mechanic skills or lack of to that level again 😂

After a few weeks of awesome trips and motorbike events, I thought I better throw a little reminder that I’m still training and making progress, but balancing it with life.

I have to say this is slowly becoming my favourite shot and can see some good progress, since the last time I dieted down.

Amazing weekend @silverstonecircuit with my youngest lad, watching @motogp in person for the first time, in the @ducati stand.

I have to say we were not disappointed, the noise the speed and the spectacle are something truly to behold. Whilst I have watched thousands of races on tv, until you see it in real life, you really can’t appreciate the speed, lean angle and change of direction.

The only sad part was not seeing a #ducati on the podium, but some fantastic racing.

Thank you to @ducatiuk for our goodies in the stand and here’s to next year… as this will definitely be the start of many more visits to come.

So the first of three days boxed off @silverstonecircuit for the @motogp and it felt only right to kick it all off with a visit to @silverstonemuseum

It’s off forgotten that before this wonderful circuit was here entertaining the public, it was actually a World War II RAF bomber station, as an operational training unit.

Then in 1948 the first race was held and the rest is history, as they say… well @silverstonemuseum has a fair few of those bits of history on display and here’s just a few of those beauties.

We might all have our favourites, but for me Mansell and Hill’s Williams are so iconic and part of my childhood. Then there’s the greatness of Barry Sheene and Valentino Rossi.

A little ride out and then a great garden party hosted by my good friend @johndnicholas

Honestly very grateful for his hospitality and friendship. It was a great occasion and more memories made.

This weekend was a delight and definitely a highlight was visiting @theclassicmotorhub with some of the most beautiful cars in their collection.

I think we can all agree, whilst mechanically cars are now vastly superior than they used to be… they will never have the styling, beauty or be as aesthetically appealing as the cars of yesteryears. For these beauties all have character and charm in abundance…

With the memories of our trip to Italy and WDW 2026, still fresh in our minds, some of us @surreydocgb members decided to try and capture a little of that Italian magic, right here in the UK.

So a nice early morning meet @fegobakehouse in Ascot for an epic journey out to the Cotswolds and back. We headed up to @h_cafe_official followed by a trip to @theclassicmotorhub and then on to Burton-On-The-Water, for some amazing burgers @smiths_of_bourton we then headed for home via Goring-On-Thames for a lovely drink by the river.

The best moments in life are because of who you spend them with…
