🎉The year is 2021 and your boy has been around the block 34 times. It has not been the best birthday because my Mimi is in the hospital. It hits different when it’s your last grandparent.
I’ve been blessed to say the least this past year. I changed careers and accepted my first job in IT. Got hired on full time shortly after they realized wtf I was 😉, then got a raise shortly after that. Now I’m focusing on the next goal, myself. Good health, more wealth and self happiness. I’m looking forward to everything life has for me as I move onward to this next chapter of life, living in the beautiful state of California. 🌴 Happy Birthday Reezy Baby 🥳😘

Wrapped my birthday week with great music, soft, intimate and intentional. The Grammy nominated multitalented @siobhansstation performed her latest single “Excited” for the first time as it was revealed she will be featured on the cover of @cincinnatistyle magazine cover. Long post: Happy Veterans Day to all my fellow veterans 💪🏽🇺🇸

I’m grateful for the veteran role models in my life. From my grandads, uncles and other relatives that served, I was shaped by examples of integrity, honor and selflessness.

This year I want to give a special shoutout to the man that raised my brother and I as his own. He was more than a father to my sisters, he was a DAD to all of us. I’m thankful for his presence and guidance in life. I continue to use those acquired life skills, like being a gentleman, always being aware of your surroundings and thinking quick on your feet. My active lifestyle was influenced at an early age by him motivating us to pursue any sport we wanted to play. Even when we were wild boys he gave us the option to do crazy workouts when disciplinary action was needed. I’m talking football drills/pushups until tears and snot was running 🥲😪. I may have attracted the attention of drill sergeants in basic training after laughing at the workouts they used to discipline us, being that I was already conditioned for the torture 😏.

I went on to become a medic and Airborne Ranger, jumping out of planes and pushing my body to the limit with some of the most elite soldiers in the 75th Ranger Regiment and 82nd Airborne Division. With the prayers of my Mimi and mother, skills I learned being raised by a Navy veteran I was able to return from a deployment to Iraq safely and complete my service effectively.

Moral of the story, be a good role model to the children. Your decisions are being watched and will guide them throughout their lives.

“The Beast” Dozier is how you show in my phone and I’m not changing it. From our first conversation I knew we would be friends for life. Your acceptance of me means you will always be seen. It was fun going through photos and reliving these memories. You’re such an inspiration and the best trainer in Atlanta. Side quest: Make sure Mama good. 😊♥️🤞🏽
I’ve traveled the world, lived all over the States, jumped out of planes and helicopters, and served with the most lethal military forces. None of it compares to the feeling of making your mother proud and those cherished moments. From day one I had a job to do. Make sure Mama good.
Mama wanted a back yard birthday party, so we had Game Night with family and friends. Fun, laughter, tears and memories were made. I’m grateful for these moments and being able to reconnect with family. Mission accomplished 🫡✅
