Graduation is in 3 days, and I can’t walk across that stage without giving flowers to the people who poured into me, held me accountable, and saw something in me—even when I didn’t see it in myself.

To the Office of Student Engagement—thank you for shaping me into the leader I am today. You all gave me rooms to grow in, jobs to grow through, and support that never wavered.

Dean, thank you for challenging me to never settle. You pushed me to shoot my shot at SGA President when I didn’t believe I could—and that changed everything.

Ms. Taylor (TT), thank you for taking a chance on me. Working in Student Conduct changed the game. You’ve been in my corner since day one, and now you’ll always be Auntie TT. I love you deeply for that.

Mama J, thank you for being my office mom and mentor. You taught me lessons I didn’t even know I needed—and I’ll carry them into every room I enter. Mama J Kids ON TOP!

Mr. Thornton, thank you for making OSE feel like home from the beginning. I’ll never forget that.

Cid, thank you for supporting me from the moment I stepped foot on Albany State’s campus. My Hall Manager turned mentor—my content girl! I can always count on you to keep me updated on the latest trends and gadgets. You’ve always had my back, and I’m forever grateful.

Mr. Green, words fail. You’re more than an advisor—you’re family. The big brother I didn’t know I needed. Thank you for everything.

I love y’all. I’m gonna miss walking into the office, making my rounds, and telling y’all all the tea. You’ve been my village—and because of you, I made it.

ALBANY STATE UNIVERSITY… I LOVE YOU, THANK YOU!

These past four years have been nothing short of a blessing. ASU, you’ve molded me, challenged me, and helped me grow into the woman I am today. The phrase “Golden Standard of Excellence” isn’t just something we heard at orientation — it’s a way of life that lives within me now. Through every trial, tear, moment of growth, and celebration, that standard carried me through.

I’m proud to hold onto the legacy my family has passed on — here’s to the 4th generation HBCU graduate!

Every memory, every laugh, every lesson — I’ll hold them close forever, with a smile on my face and gratitude in my heart.

First and foremost, ALL GLORY TO GOD. None of this would’ve been possible without Him. Thank you, Lord, for giving me the strength, grace, and opportunity to serve as Vice President this year. This season has truly been one of the most transformative, challenging, and rewarding chapters of my life.

To the Reach Administration – thank you for believing in me and trusting me with this position. It’s been an absolute honor serving alongside such passionate and dedicated individuals. The teamwork, leadership, and memories we’ve created together will forever stay with me.
REACH UP. REACH OUT. REACH FORWARD.

To my class representatives – thank you for allowing me to be your supervisor. Watching each of you grow, lead, and show up for your peers has been nothing short of inspiring. I’m so proud of every single one of you. Y’all are powerful leaders, and I can’t wait to see how you continue to impact this campus and beyond. I believe in you—always.

LAST DAY OF 2024!

I can’t help but reflect on how incredible this year has been. 2024 has truly been my year—a year of self-growth, love, and unforgettable memories. It’s been a time of learning, stepping out of my comfort zone, and truly embracing everything life has to offer.

Every challenge, every victory, and every moment of joy has shaped me into a stronger, better version of myself. I’m beyond grateful for the people who have been part of this journey, the opportunities that came my way, and the lessons I’ve learned along the way.
