What if we can grow more food with less? 🌱

We’re not just asking the question.
We’re proving it.

From the UAE desert to farms around the world, we work together with farmers to grow more with less water, lower costs and solutions that work with nature, not against it.

Because the challenges may be different from one region to another, but the goal is the same:

Grow better. Use less. Restore more. 🌍

100% organic. Zero chemicals.*
A new standard for food production.

*ReFarm Zero Chemicals: No synthetic chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides or fungicides. Non-GMO seeds and regenerative inputs.

Growing rice. In the UAE desert. In summer. 🇦🇪❤️☀️

1. We started from seed in our vertical farming towers.
2. Just 14 days later, the young rice plants were ready to leave the controlled environment and move into the UAE desert, where we continued growing them in the open field using ReFarm’s organic solutions.

💧 62% less irrigation water vs. our Pakistan baseline
🌱 No synthetic chemical fertilizers or pesticides
🌾 Ready for harvest in just 90 days
☀️ Grown through the UAE summer

This isn’t only about growing rice.
It’s about rethinking how and where food can be produced, combining technology, healthier soil and regenerative agriculture to grow more with fewer resources.

Rice wasn’t designed for this.
So we changed the way we grow it. 🌾🔥

Open desert.
Summer temperatures reaching 48°C.
And 62% less irrigation water compared with conventional flooded rice.

No continuous flooding.
Organic & regenerative cultivation.

And most importantly:
We harvested rice.

Why does this matter?
Because in a world facing increasing heat, water scarcity and food-security pressure, the question shouldn’t only be:

“What can we grow here?”

It should be:
“How can we grow differently?”

This is what #GrowTheImpossible is about, challenging agricultural assumptions with real-world results.

Follow @refarmglobal as we show what happens when regenerative agriculture, biology and technology meet some of the world’s toughest growing conditions. 🌍🌱

40% more #CORN 🌽. More profit for the farmer. Up to 60% less water. Proven in the desert…

Growing food is becoming harder. Higher temperatures. Water scarcity. Degraded soils. Rising input costs. Farmers are being asked to produce more, with fewer resources and under increasingly difficult conditions.

At ReFarm, we believe the answer isn’t simply more inputs.
✅ It’s better biology, healthier soil and working with nature.

From controlled seedling production in our RePlant towers to growing and harvesting under UAE desert conditions, we’re demonstrating what becomes possible when we rethink how food is grown.

Our corn results:
🌱 Non-GMO
💧 Up to 60% less water
🌽 +40% higher yield
⚖️ +26% heavier cobs
🚫 Zero chemicals*
🏜️ Grown under UAE desert conditions

*Our definition of “Zero chemicals”: Non-GMO production with no synthetic chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides or fungicides, and no intentionally applied harmful synthetic chemical inputs to the seed, soil, water or crop throughout the growing cycle.

The comparison uses conventional corn production in sandy-soil conditions in India as the reference baseline.

Because corn that looks like corn doesn’t tell you how it was grown, or what it took to produce it.

For us, the future of farming isn’t just about producing more.
It’s about producing better, with less water, healthier soil, resilient plants and fewer external inputs.

Supporting nature. Supporting farmers. Supporting healthier food systems.

This is regenerative agriculture in action.
Restoring the balance. 🌱

It all starts with the soil. 🌱
1. Healthy soil supports strong plants.
2. Strong plants produce healthy crops.
3. Healthy crops contribute to nutritious food.
4. And regenerative agricultural systems support both people and the planet.

At ReFarm, our foundation and standard is regenerative farming at scale. Lower costs. Less water. Zero synthetic chemicals.

For our latest corn demonstration in the UAE 🇦🇪, we grew the same corn variety (non-GMO) over the same growing period, benchmarking our results against conventional Indian sandy-soil farming practices.

We started with desert sand and applied only ReFarm solutions.

Zero sweet sand.
Zero chicken or cow manure.
Zero synthetic chemicals.

Just desert sand enhanced with our bioengineered ReSoil, supported by our 100% organic and biological solutions.

After only 80 days:

💧 UP TO 60% LESS IRRIGATION WATER
335 L/m² ReFarm vs. 850 L/m² conventional benchmark

🌽 40% HIGHER YIELD
2.1 kg/m² ReFarm vs. 1.5 kg/m² conventional benchmark

⚖️ 26% HEAVIER COBS
316 g/cob ReFarm vs. 250 g/cob conventional benchmark

🌱 NON-GMO
Same corn variety. Same growing period.

The difference starts below the surface.

Because the future of agriculture isn’t simply about growing more. It’s about growing better, using fewer resources while rebuilding the natural systems agriculture depends on.

This is also how we think about One Health: soil, plant, food, environmental health are interconnected.

Wheat. In the UAE desert. At 35°C+ & 50% less water.
🌾🔥🇦🇪

We didn’t change the crop.
We changed the way we grow it.

Our non-GMO wheat was grown in sand using only ReFarm’s certified-organic soil and plant nutrition solutions. Nothing else.

No synthetic chemical fertilizers.
No synthetic chemical pesticides.

And the results:

💧 350 L/m² irrigation water
Up to 50% less vs. 650 L/m² Indian sandy-soil benchmark.

🌾 0.6 kg/m² yield
50% higher vs. 0.4 kg/m² Indian sandy-soil benchmark.

🔥 35°C+ desert heat
⏱️ 135 days from seed to harvest

Sand. ReFarm’s organic solutions. Water. That’s it.

Less water. More yield. Grown organically.

Wheat. Less water. Lower cost. More yield. Grown organically without synthetic chemical fertilizers or pesticides.

We grow non-GMO wheat in the UAE desert at temperatures above 35°C, using only ReFarm’s organic soil and plant nutrition solutions, developed and produced right here in the UAE.

And the numbers speak for themselves:

💧 350 L/m² irrigation water
Up to 50% less vs. a 650 L/m² sandy-soil benchmark.

🌾 0.6 kg/m² yield
50% higher vs. the 0.4 kg/m² desert sandy-soil benchmark.

🔥 35°C+ desert heat
Growing through conditions where wheat typically faces significant heat stress.

⏱️ 135 days
From seed to harvest.

🌱 Grown with ReFarm’s organic solutions
Developed to help plants perform with fewer resources, even under extreme growing conditions.

For us, this is about more than wheat. It’s about proving that food production in arid environments can be approached differently, with healthier soil, smarter plant nutrition and significantly less water.

🇦🇪 Developed in the UAE. Made in the UAE. Proven in the UAE desert. The new standard of food production.

A little gift from nature. 🐝🌱🇦🇪

We never introduced them. They found our desert farm naturally, and now they’re busy pollinating our crops and making themselves at home. 💚

Why does this matter?
Pollinators don’t come because we ask them to. They come when they find the flowers, food and conditions they’re looking for.

For us, seeing bees arrive naturally in the middle of the UAE desert is a beautiful reminder of what can happen when agriculture works with nature instead of against it.

Real footage. Real bees. Real crops.
Right here in the UAE desert. 🇦🇪🏜️

Take care of nature, and nature finds a way to give back. ♾️

What’s the most beautiful way nature has surprised you?

45 crops 💚. One of the world’s toughest growing environments. What if the desert wasn’t the limitation, but the opportunity?

@refarmglobal , we’re proving that food can be grown year-round in the UAE desert using regenerative farming practices designed to work with nature, not against it.

💧 Less water
📉 Lower costs
🌱 Regenerative growing
🚫 No synthetic inputs
☀️ Built for extreme desert conditions

From leafy greens and herbs to fruits and vegetables, 45 crops are already challenging what we thought was possible in the desert.

This isn’t about forcing agriculture into the desert.
It’s about rethinking how agriculture works.

The future of food won’t be defined by perfect conditions.
It will be defined by what we can grow despite them.

Dubai just turned sea waste into soil. And it happened on Palm Jumeirah.

Dubai Holding Community Management and ReFarm Global Investments have launched the Sea to Soil initiative, described as the region's first of its kind in sustainable community management and circular economy practice.

The pilot phase converted 120 kg of algae waste into 31 kg of nutrient-rich Re-Soil compost, which goes straight back into landscaping within the same community it came from.

As master communities grow in scale, this is what circular living looks like in one of the world's most ambitious urban environments.

The Gulf isn’t just building farms in the desert; it’s changing what food production looks like.

Dubai’s gigafarm is pushing controlled-environment agriculture to a new scale, using advanced indoor growing systems to produce millions of kilos of fresh food every year. In a region where heat, water scarcity, and limited arable land have long shaped agriculture, this approach could redefine how the UAE grows food, strengthens local production, and builds greater food security.
