REFINED RADIO 079

Ottawa. 60 million Spotify streams. A TikTok demo that landed a collab with Tory Lanez.

Jacob Vallen built this from the ground up — viral moments turned into real releases, real releases turned into a fanbase that doesn’t quit.

Canadian and doing it at a level most don’t reach. We’re glad to have him on 079.

We will leave it to Jacob Vallen now. Go.

REFINED RADIO 078

Been watching Ayla and Ahdra for six months. Remote sets, good energy, and a sound that doesn’t need a big stage to hit hard.

The Klinger Twins are from Oregon and they brought exactly what we hoped for — fresh tracks, house music you haven’t heard yet, and a mix that moves from start to finish.

Two minds, one sound. Sounds familiar.

We will leave it to the Klinger Twins now. Go.

Found him last November. Dancin in the Dark edit made it into our likes, then we bumped across it again this summer.

That’s how MattyTrips ended up on Refined Radio.

San Diego via Chicago — the birthplace of house music — and you can hear it. Raw, groovy, minimal in the best way. The kind of sound built for a low key day club or the first hour of a night that ends somewhere you didn’t plan.

He came across our page. We remembered him. The rest took a little time but here we are.

If the RR boys make it to San Diego, we’re going to his show. Maybe a collab.

We will leave it to MattyTrips now. Let get it.

REFINED RADIO 076

No event. No crowd. Just Toronto, a Sunday, and two hours of MACH1.

This one is different. No energy to feed off, no room to read. Just the sound we wanted to make when nothing else was pulling at us.

Chill, warm, and built to last the whole afternoon.

Put it on and let it run.

REFINED RADIO 075

Labor Day weekend. Toronto. The city had one thing on its mind.

Electric Island on the water. Rufus Du Sol at Night closing it out. House music in every direction you looked.

We set up. Pressed record. And let the room do the rest.

This is MACH1 live. No edits. No do-overs. Just the energy of a city that was fully switched on and two people who were ready for it.

Full set on YouTube — @RefinedRadio

Feel the room.

R3BUILD knows something you don’t yet — but you’re about to feel it.

There’s a moment before everything starts. The music is on, the room is moving, and something in you just knows. That’s where this mix lives.

Confident, carefree, and locked in from the first track to the last. The drive, the pre-game, the late night — this one works for all of it.

This one is called: Feelin’ Ready.

We will leave it to R3BUILD now. Trust.

Montreal bred him. Eastern Canada noticed. The U.S. let him in. Now he’s on Refined Radio.

Riendo doesn’t wait for the room to warm up — he walks in and the energy shifts. Bass house with the kind of momentum that turns a streaming debut into festival stages, and festival stages into New City Gas.

500K plays. 4M views. Support from names that don’t throw that around lightly. This one is moving fast and it’s not slowing down.

We will leave it to Riendo now. Turn it up.

REFINED RADIO 072 - EXHALE

Built around emotion, the changing of seasons, and the moments you finally recognize that change isn’t something to fear — it’s something you need. Whether that’s with friends, family, or just yourself. Change is good. Recognizing that takes a different type of person.

Most of these songs aren’t mixed. They’re just played out and pressed play. That’s intentional. Because this isn’t about technical skill — it’s about story. And when you find songs that belong together, you don’t need to hide the seams.

This mix is a turning point. For me, for MACH1, and for what Refined Radio is becoming.

Listen somewhere warm. With people who have open minds. And let the music work.

Don’t judge what you hear. Just open up to what’s coming.

We will leave it here. Exhale.

Rauzi is back.

Toronto’s own made his mark on 058 and didn’t stop moving since. Tech house, bass house, and a crowd-first mentality built from Waterloo frat parties to Southeast Asia and back.

He reached out. He delivered. Again.

We will leave it to Rauzi now. Let it ride.

70 episodes. What started as an idea between two people who believed in a sound is now something real.

Extendolab has been here from day one — every artwork, every frame, every vision. For episode 070 he takes the decks and lets you hear exactly what built this thing from the inside.

This one is for everyone who’s been here since the beginning.

We will leave it to Extendolab now. Let’s run it.

Virmusen is a minimal underground DJ and producer from Russia, now based in Bali — and the contrast shows in every set.

Dark, hypnotic, stripped down. She builds tension through texture and lets the bassline do the talking. No excess. Just precision and feel.

1 hour with @virmusen live now.

Two minds. One sound.

MACH1 is back. When dark meets light, when time is stopped and the world is waking. When the blues of the horizon hit you, you just know it’s going to be a good day.

145 minutes, 145 BPM, original house tracks you didn’t know could be this good at high speeds.

No tracklist. You need to go through it yourself.

Recorded in 4K — out now on YouTube.

We will leave it in the hands of MACH1 now to break the sound barrier.
