Diseño by @javiermrmn // @offtstudio by @refractedmusic$

$A heartfelt thank you to all the artists, crowd, volunteers and staff members of @parallelfestival ! Every year it's simply the best experience for me as a performer and as an audience member. Nothing makes me happier than to see all of you enjoying the programming and that simply keeps pushing me further to bring the best and the most suitable sounds for this experience. Big thanks to all the artists that worked so hard to prepare for their moment in the mountains. It really means a lot that you take it so seriously. Till next year <3 Pics by: @carol_xrln & @helen_white79 taken in Paral·lel Festival by @refractedmusic$

$This ambient/experimental session by @parallelfestival head honcho @refractedmusic was recorded at a Lucid Dreams event at Espacio Perpendicular and publicly released as DSS 136 for your listening pleasure! Refracted’s music feels as fundamentally human as it sounds otherworldly. It is techno more as an idea and conduit, than as an easily- labeled sound. It is dance music where layered rhythms act almost on a neural, sub epidermal level, while moving and evolving soundscapes acquire a tactile, understated physicality. Paramount examples of this can be found on releases on Refracted’s own Mind Express label, and on celebrated labels like @bittarecords @polegroup @semantica_records_oficial Sublunar and Canadian ambient/deep-techno imprint @silentseason With his path unraveling further, his sound has evolved beyond just techno, becoming a conduit for exploring the boundaries of experimental and drone music. Spiritual, almost meditative, his sets also possess a strong kinetic energy when needed, which is a clear indication of a DJ who knows the fundamental role of dancing as part of the ritual. He wants to take us somewhere, the “where” being of our own choosing, the trail never being the most travelled. Enjoy! Listen via 🔗 link in BIO 🔗 🏄‍♂️🌀🏄‍♂️ by @refractedmusic$

$🌲 @refractedmusic ( @bittarecords / @polegroup / @semantica_records / Mind Express, Spain) Next up at #parallel26 is our curator and resident DJ: With a sound that drifts between hypnotic textures and driving rhythms, Refracted has carved out a singular space within contemporary techno. His sets unfold like journeys - immersive, unpredictable, and deeply atmospheric. Last year, he set Saturday afternoon in motion and kept the floor locked in from start to finish. This time around, we’re ready to see where he takes us next. Aquest cop, tenim ganes de veure cap a on ens portarà. by @refractedmusic$
