Had to get the camera back out before this little one joined the family! Honoured to take some very late maternity pictures for @sorayajonesxo last weekend. After my own pregnancy I realised how special this short period of Soraya’s life would be. The quiet little moments with just you and bump all become a blur after a while so I wanted to capture them so she had a reminder forever ❤️

Thought these extra edits from this beautiful shoot with @emily_masseyy felt appropriate for how the disabled community are feeling with these new proposed PIP changes. Another life line potentially gone. We are so tired of fighting to be heard and seen. We are in need of our community now more than ever. Reach out to your disabled friends and relatives, a little message goes a long way in helping us feel less alone ❤️

@jimmy_safehands and I welcomed baby Piper into our lives at 02:44 on Friday Feb 20th after 40 long weeks and the wildest thing we will ever experience. Can’t wait to make a lifetime of memories with you Pipes ❤️

PHOTOS NOT BY ME
I finally get to share some of these amazing maternity images that @sanfelicecaio took of me in early December when I was around 30 weeks ❤️ He made us feel so comfortable that even Jimmy cracked a smile and we can forever remember this time in our lives. It’s been wild. I’ve loved it, and hated it at times, and I don’t think it’s something you can truly explain. She’s booting me as I write this and soon she’s going to really be here, like an actual living earth side baby. Are we ready, probably not? Are you ever? All I know is we have a lot of love to give her 🥰

Displaced. Betrayed. Drowning.

The words written across my body in a shoot with @rega_photography aren’t just for effect. They reflect what it feels like to be disabled in Britain today. With the government’s proposed PIP changes, another lifeline is slipping away. For many, PIP isn’t just financial support, it’s the difference between surviving and living.

The system has always been brutal, forcing us to justify our existence, prove our disabilities, and be scrutinized by assessors with no real medical knowledge. Now, it’s becoming even more inaccessible.

Imagine being told you don’t qualify for help because you can walk a few steps-never mind that doing so might leave you in agony for days. Imagine having POTS, an invisible illness, where standing up could make you faint, but because you can physically move, the system sees no issue. Imagine dealing with seizures, chronic pain, fatigue so debilitating that brushing your hair feels impossible, and still being told you’re “not disabled enough.”

Many of us push through pain and exhaustion to work, desperately trying to meet societal expectations. But it comes at a cost: worsened symptoms, hospital visits, and sometimes complete burnout.

We are exhausted-not just from our conditions, but from fighting to be heard. To be seen. To be valued.

These decisions aren’t just about policy-they’re about people. And right now, the disabled community needs allies more than ever. If you’re able-bodied, check in on your disabled friends. Listen to us. Stand with us. Because this fight is about the kind of society we all want to live in.

First self portraits in 6 months and they came out FIRE 🔥

You wouldn’t believe I was sitting on the floor with a makeshift backdrop of fabric clamped to my shelves, me having to answer the door to the postman in this get up, and many a dizzy spell throughout but we made it!

Let’s talk seizures… yup, we’re going there!

Coming up to three years ago, I started having unexplained seizures alongside other symptoms. I was regularly being taken to the hospital, having seized or fainted at university, on the train and sometimes in the middle of roads. I was constantly in danger and terrified to leave the house. I was even asked to leave university, lost a job I loved, and felt like my body was constantly betraying me because it was. My home, my body, was doing anything it could to endanger me - I would dislocate joints when collapsing, wet myself in public and be constantly humiliated by the scene that would no doubt ensue the second I fell.

I started having to go on the search for answers, finding it very hard to be taken seriously… ‘Everybody faints’, ‘Drink more water’, ‘It’s because you’re underweight’, ‘You’re overweight’, ‘You’re being dramatic’ - these are amongst a few of the nicer things people would say to me. I couldn’t get anybody to listen. My seizures remain the most complex part of my condition and are undiagnosed.

I have multiple daily convulsive seizures and faint-like seizures, and whilst, with time, I have gotten better at managing them and finding methods to protect myself better, I still am at risk every day. Still, I hope that with time, there will be answers and a solution.

You may be asking why I am finally sharing this part of my life, and the answer is simple: I so often feel alone in my disability, and the truth is I’m not alone; none of us are alone. There are so many people (including models) who look well but might be suffering from health issues that you can’t see.

I wanted to thank everybody for the overwhelming support - I have had so many people reach out with questions and kindness, and I will continue to do my best to share honestly.

Your gal’s first Christmas self portraits!! I finally had the energy to take these 2 days ago 😅 Just in time!
I do love a bit of Christmas. The decorations, gift giving, community spirit, it all makes me feel warm inside. This year has been tough and one day can’t fix it but I hope it can give you a day off from it all.
