Mother's Day 2026

This picture perfectly shows the life stage of each kiddo.

Gentry (8 years old) Still loves to be with Mom & Dad but is ready to spring out of seat to go see friends.

Della (2 years old) Daddy's girl. She pretends to be shy in public but doesn't miss a chance to be silly.

Elsie (10 months old) Loves her Momma. She will tolerate being in public but only when super close to Mom.

Sister girl is six months old today!

Della remains totally smitten with Gentry. Big brother gets all the big smiles as he more activity engages with her. He would tell you she's much more fun now than she was a few months ago. 🤪

Della is super close to sitting up unassisted but has zero tolerance for tummy time.

With zero teeth, Mom is making our poor girl wait to try food. She thinks she's ready now! 🍳

Bath time is still one of her favorite activities as she loves to splash and play.🌊

Two weeks ago, we hired @4theloveofsleep to help us navigate our sleep schedule. We went from struggling to get Della to bed each night to bedtime, being the literal easiest time of our day. 🙌

The first week of May, we took a whirlwind trip back to Kansas. It always feels impossible to see everyone we want to see in such a short amount of time anyway, but this time, it felt even harder with a young baby. If we missed you, it's not because we didn't want to see you.

Our KS trip included about 14 hours of flight time. I was so nervous I'd be the mom with the screaming baby, and I'd be totally overwhelmed. While Della did have some moments of tears, it was truly an answer to prayers.

What a joy these last six months have been!
