Graduation Collection 𝙊𝙁𝙁 𝙋𝙊𝙄𝙉𝙏𝙀 @amfinl 𝙊𝙁𝙁 𝙋𝙊𝙄𝙉𝙏𝙀 refers to the state next to perfection not the moment on stage itself, but everything surrounding it. Forms derived from ballet shoes are combined with streetwear silhouettes and elements. Look 3 - third position The silhouette is based on the third position in ballet, representing transition and change, and is designed to appear as if it is transforming while being worn. From one side, it resembles the silhouette of a baggy pair of raw denim jeans, featuring distressed details drawn from streetwear, combined with a long blazer. From the other side, the silhouette opens into an asymmetrical mini skirt with an oversized waistband. The section connected to the skirt is shaped from the silhouette of a pointe shoe. The skirt is styled with multiple layered tops, worn off-center to create a sense of movement while expressing the compressed and confined feeling experienced inside a pointe shoe. Forms derived from ballet shoes are combined with streetwear silhouettes and elements. Look 2 – Rise The bomber jacket is shaped from the silhouette of an unfolded ballet shoe, featuring exaggerated knitted cuffs with text referencing the pointe shoe size and maker. Underneath, a high-cut bodysuit references the rehearsal leotards worn beneath oversized layers. The satin trousers combine a baggy, low-waisted fit with ribbon details inspired by ballet shoes, a heel bite referencing the wear of pointe shoes, and a folded-over waistband that reveals an exposed under-waistband, inspired by streetwear styling.
