5 years of Reginald Todd LLC, and I ran 5 miles today for the first time in a long time. It was a coincidence, but it fit perfectly. Three of those years also include running @foxlensstudio , and I’m proud of both.

Most businesses don’t make it to year five. Along the way, my work has been featured in @huami_magazine , @voyagemichigan , and @michiganchronicle . I’ve done work with the @nfl , @detroitpistons , and the list goes on. None of that happens alone.

To every peer who poured into me, thank you. @brelshea , thank you for reminding me to give myself grace and to look at how much I’ve accomplished. @shotbystanj & @brandonfullfilms , thank you for telling me to pop my sh*t sometimes and to keep going. And this morning’s sermon said it plainly: don’t quit too soon.

So I won’t. Year six starts now.

BURNT SUGAR 🍯🔥✨

Still on cloud 9!!!

What started as an idea, a collection of songs, and a vision in my head became a REAL moment—and this video captures the magic of that night so beautifully.

The music. The band. The energy. The love. The looks. The laughter. The people who showed up and celebrated with me. 🥹🤎

My Burnt Sugar Album Release Party was more than a show it was a celebration of everything it took to get here. Every song carries a piece of my story, and getting to finally share this album surrounded by people who have supported me made the night unforgettable.

A special Thank you to @missevasdetroit choosing to host us again, my music director @hazmatlive , @saxappealmusic for being a phenomenal guest performer and rocking the crowd like he did ,my creative director @ettovalli , my event coordinator @_candyyams_ , @bcole_music for production, mixing and mastering and just overall support of the album, my decorator @mskenyat , @tacobachis_detroit , every musician, creative, vendor, friend, family member, supporter, and beautiful soul who helped bring this vision to life. And thank you to everyone who pressed play, bought a ticket, bought merch, shared a post, sang along, danced, or simply believed in me.

This chapter is called BURNT SUGAR… and we’re only getting started. 🍯🔥

Tastemakers Series by @detroitfashioncommunity. We had a industry conversation that was groundbreaking.

Topics ranged from the science and business building of a celebrity stylist to the pitfalls of contractual mishaps while on set and working with movies, clients, and retail.

Detroit's fashion scene and where we stand...our differences from New York, California and the hurdles for emerging Detroit stylist and designers to be seen.

Our biggest joy was seeing the room come alive with the Q and A segment and the networking after

We are forever grateful for our panelist that brought priceless wisdom and storytelling that our guest can forever chew on and apply.

@jamar_hart @marvneal @hey_angela @sheila_shoppz and @fashion_junkieeeee 🎤✨️

More visuals inside this landmark day coming...

A year later and it still hits the same.
Steve and Jasmine brought the love. I brought the camera.
The vision was there from the start.
Happy almost one year, The Brown’s.
