At the Laudato Si’ Conference 2025, I didn’t just speak I raised voices that are often ignored. On the panel, I shared the real climate education and advocacy happening in my community. We’re not only creating awareness we’re raising a new generation that protects and defends our environment.

I echoed @laurelkivuyo powerful truth: ‘You can’t tell an old woman in my village to switch to an electric car when she can’t even afford a meal.’ That’s the reality. African problems need African solutions.

And with @vanessanakate1 words in mind ‘There is no climate justice without climate action’ I called for urgent action.

This conference wasn’t just a meeting. It was a wake-up call. A bold reminder that when we speak together, we build a fairer and greener future for everyone. taken in Uganda, Africa by @reginamagoke

Climate education isn’t charity it’s power. When girls, women, and rural communities stop being called ‘beneficiaries’ and start being co-designers, they turn awareness into action, and action into accountability. This is what a just transition looks like not tomorrow, NOW. by @reginamagoke

At the 42nd GIMAC Summit, I was proud to speak on behalf of my fellow youth during my panel discussion, amplifying young voices on gender-responsive climate action, water, sanitation, and health.

Key takeaways were clear: Youth must be meaningfully included in decision-making, gender perspectives must guide climate policies, and sustainable WASH solutions are essential for resilient communities.

The time for action is now.

Grateful to serve as a trainer with the amazing @sheworks_in_tech team, empowering young women and men with digital skills for the future.

Ahead of #InternationalYouthDay, we are creating spaces where young people can learn, innovate, and turn technology into opportunities.

With the support of UN Women and the Government of Belgium, this bootcamp at Kigamboni Folk Development College is helping nurture the next generation of innovators through coding, robotics, and digital innovation.

It was a profound honor to serve as a speaker at the Regional AMECEA Conference, joining bishops, Church leaders, and fellow changemakers in advancing the conversation on ethical investment, climate justice, and care for our common home.

This was more than a speaking engagement it was an opportunity to amplify the voices of communities on the frontlines of the climate crisis and to reaffirm that the decisions we make today will shape a more just, resilient, and sustainable future.

May our faith continue to inspire courageous action, and may our investments always reflect the dignity of people and the stewardship of creation.

A Girl of Laudato Si’

I leave carrying more than a passport and a boarding pass, I carry the hopes of communities, the voices of women, and a commitment to protect our common home.

Off to the Ethical Investment for Catholics: Strategic Convening for the AMECEA Region.

May this be more than a conference. May it become a movement of faith, justice, and action. taken in Julius Nyerere International Airport by @reginamagoke

I’m so excited to announce that we have officially launched the GREEN EARTH FOR SUSTAINABLE FUTURE CAMPAIGN 2024 at Pius Msekwa Primary School in Dar es Salaam!

It has been an incredible experience connecting with and empowering approximately 1,000 students from grades 1–7. We conducted a variety of activities, including climate education and awareness, capacity building through trainings and workshops, and tree-planting initiatives.

Our vision is to nurture a generation of young people who will play a key role in creating a sustainable future for all.
The Green Earth For Sustainable Future Campaign is not just an event it’s a continuous and impactful program.

Congratulations to our wonderful teams, @tardfoundation and @riseupmovement1 , for supporting the Green Earth For Sustainable Future Campaign 2024. We truly acknowledge and appreciate your efforts! taken in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania by @reginamagoke
