✖️ Felt like joining the cool alumni club at @commonvision and contributed to our #36DaysofType challenge. Maybe next year I’ll try for the whole month 😅 #graphicdesign #typography #graphicdesigncentral #designersoninstagram #dribbble #branding #logo #dribbbleshot #baltimorecreatives #identitydesign #designdaily by @reginedesigns
✨Imagine the sadness of these not being put to use this year for safety reasons 😪 maybe next time, champ. ✨Shout out to the best street name and group of neighbors though! #graphicdesign #logodesign #typography #graphicdesigncentral #designersoninstagram #dribbble #branding #logo #dribbbleshot #behance #printdesign #baltimorecreatives #identitydesign #designdaily by @reginedesigns
✖️Just some more unused concepts that sparked a lil bit of joy in their existence. Are the weekends really this short? #graphicdesign #logodesign #typography #graphicdesigncentral #designersoninstagram #dribbble #branding #logo #dribbbleshot #baltimorecreatives #identitydesign #designdaily by @reginedesigns
✖️I’ve always wanted to be that go-to person, and for a lot of folks, nonprofits, businesses, I am. I like to invest in my friends and their initiatives, because I naturally can’t help but get involved in fun things. ✖️Sure — it’s led to some burn out, being such a ‘yeah I can help’ person, but I eventually learned that obligation doesn’t bring me joy and showing up MINDFULLY is the best thing I can do for myself and my work. I’ve grown amazing partnerships with other creatives like @kap2ure (hi 👋🏽) by being a friend and a colleague all at the same time and I’m sure there’s more out there. ✖️So, this year, my last intention that I feel like writing about is: Showing up. Giving advice. Volunteering. Lovingly declining. Sharing. Caring. Putting good things in the hands of good people. All that good stuff (: #graphicdesign #logodesign #typography #graphicdesigncentral #designersoninstagram #dribbble #branding #logo #dribbbleshot #baltimorecreatives #identitydesign #designdaily by @reginedesigns
✖️Some unused marks from last year-ish that incorporated the brand’s initials D + T, as well as some hidden symbols for growth and prosperity. ✖️Happy Friday 👋🏽 #graphicdesign #logodesign #typography #graphicdesigncentral #designersoninstagram #dribbble #branding #logo #dribbbleshot #baltimorecreatives #identitydesign #designdaily by @reginedesigns
✖️In our field, everyone is a self-proclaimed storyteller but whose stories are we telling? The same ones over and over? I’m hoping to be more intentional about the spaces I have access to and push to inform about and elevate experiences other than my own. ✖️As a middle-class Black Latina, I view the world through a lens very different than yours and I hope to bridge the gap in ways that matter. I want to help others do this too. ✖️ #graphicdesign #logodesign #typography #graphicdesigncentral #designersoninstagram #dribbble #branding #logo #dribbbleshot #baltimorecreatives #identitydesign #designdaily #blackcreatives by @reginedesigns
(pretty please) ✖️ Ngl, this was mostly just a type exploration bc these cards didn’t go out to anyone but you lol ✖️10 pts to Ravenclaw if you can guess the typeface by @reginedesigns
✖️Through personal explorations, pushing my creative boundaries, collaborating on initiatives that mean a lot to me. Maybe some design writing, lots of passion projects, and a fair amount of “no, but thank you”. ✖️I took a break from freelance work in the second half of the year, and I’m glad I did, because I was just starting a new role on a new team and struggling to find time for mental rest. It also helped me realize that I don’t necessarily ✨jive✨ with the way I take on new work, and so there’s still some soul-searching there to be done. ✖️I don’t know what 2022 looks like just yet, but hopefully more productive, with a side of fries. by @reginedesigns
