Greetings from Oregon. This week I have been spending some sentimental time in the house I grew up in, taking pics and reminiscing. Last night we celebrated the 95th birthday of the amazing woman who brought me into the world... @vivanstevens. God bless you momma! And God bless the queen of country @dollyparton. Shoutout to @kholmqui007 for enlightening me today on Dolly's 1972 tribute to my hometown. 🙏🏼 taken in Eugene, Oregon by @regisfunk

Well well well. It may be small potatoes compared to @cristiano's account, but we'll take whatever we can get. Here's to 1k followers! Seems like a good time to share some highlights of the past 18 months. Enjoy y'all. With love, @moodyproducer. taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @regisfunk

When I started building panels in my backyard, I never imagined we'd one day get to work with artists making some of the biggest records in the world. That we get to now is humbling, and it's a gift we don't take for granted.

Chris Stevens is one of those people. He's a five-time Grammy winner and a multiple-time BMI Songwriter of the Year, a chart-topping songwriter, and he's been making music at the highest level for years. He was also one of our very first clients, back when MCA was just me and a backyard full of sawdust.

Acoustics is ambiguous. It's a little mysterious, and it's not something most people ever really learn about, which makes it hard to know who to trust. So when someone invites us back into their space again and again, it means everything. We've now worked with Chris for over ten years, across three different rooms. Time like that lets us really get to know someone: how they work, what they reach for, and what a space needs to sound like, look like, and feel like. There's not shortcut for that. You have to build it over time.

Back when it was just me, Chris took a chance on us. I loaded twenty panels into my FJ, strapped five to the roof, and drove down I-65, hoping they'd make it. They did. We still run that same FJ on installs today.

Ten years later, we've rebuilt this room again: more space, more room to create, and fabric track wrapping every wall but the ceiling. Getting to revisit a space like this, with someone we know this well, is a rare kind of fun.

Chris, thank you for your trust all these years. And to every artist and maker who's let us build alongside you, we're endlessly grateful to play a part in the work you put into the world. by @regisfunk
