The Nila Lounge explores the balance between a pronounced wooden structure and a soft, organic upholstered form. At Zagreb Design Week, Artisan presented the new Nila and Column collections.

Designed in collaboration with Neisako Studio, the Nila Collection, featuring lounge chairs, chaise lounge, a chair and a shelf, reflects Artisan’s mastery of solid wood craftsmanship through a balance of strong architectural lines and soft, organic forms. Refined wooden structures, sculpted details, leather, woven elements and subtle metal accents give the collection a distinctive yet timeless character.

The Column Collection, comprising a dining table and coffee table, explores sculptural form through distinctive solid wood bases that transition seamlessly from square to circular geometries. Carefully balanced proportions and refined craftsmanship bring together a strong visual presence and everyday functionality.

Together, the collections highlight Artisan’s ongoing exploration of material, form and craftsmanship.

The Missing Chair is an exercise in reduction - stripped down to the bare minimum.

Built from three essential elements: the legs, seat and backrest. Its character comes from the subtle curves and details of each, with nothing unnecessary added to the form. Almost like a sketch, where four clean lines frame the seat and backrest and freeze them in space.

A refined wooden frame and distinctively shaped armrests give the piece its strong visual identity, while soft transitions and a sense of lightness bring warmth to the overall silhouette.

The upholstered seat rests on a leather base, with woven details providing structural reinforcement where needed. Subtle metal elements complete the form, working both as structural components and refined accents.
