Still taking it all in. Big ups & an even bigger thank you to each & everyone who came out and made Champion Lover at @rosesva_ a night we won’t forget anytime soon.

From the first record to the last, the love was felt throughout the entire room. The music, the people, the energy, everything came together exactly how we hoped it would. We can’t thank you enough for continuing to show up, trust what we’re building & grow with us.

Shouts to our selectors Kill Devil Dub, Doddie, Nobe & JDeBeck for doing it up proper all night, plus Get Live for stepping in with a special impromptu set. The energy simply never let up.

Major thanks to the entire Roses staff & crew for opening their doors to us and helping make the night feel effortless from start to finish. Extra love to the kitchen & bar teams for putting together a special food & drink menu just for the occasion and helping us bring the full Champion Lover experience to life.

This one was special. We absolutely can’t wait to do it again.

Next up, September 26th. We’re back live & direct from the Seaside Patio.

🎟️ & lineup dropping real soon.

We’ll see you there.

A likkle rain couldn’t cool things down! Big ups to each & every one who stepped out despite the forecast & helped make Seaside feel like one big house party.

The weather may have pushed us inside, but the energy never dipped. The Kuya Tribe set the pace from behind the decks, & Supa Dupe kept the crowd locked in from start to finish.

Now we look ahead ⏭️ Mo Fiyah returns Saturday, October 24th for our final Seaside session of the season. We’re taking it right back to the patio to close out this run under the stars.

🎟️ Tickets & lineup drop tomorrow.

Much love & respect to everyone who came up to The Attic for our return to Virginia Beach.

The energy was so high we literally shut the room down…⚡️⚡️⚡️

Real pressure.

Big up to DJ Geso & Chef Dro for holding it down & keeping the night alive.

We hear you, & trust the next one is already dialed all the way in.

We’re right back upstairs in The Attic at Waterman’s Saturday, April 18th.

Lineup & ticket info soon come.

Thank you for rocking with us every time, it never goes unnoticed.

See you next month. Mo Fiyah style.

Beyond the Mountains was more than a dinner.
It was a moment to share history, culture, and the flavors that shaped me.

Through food, storytelling, and art, we created an evening that celebrated Haiti’s spirit, resilience, and beauty. Every plate carried a piece of where I come from and the journey that continues to inspire my cooking.

Grateful to everyone who came out to experience it, and to the incredible team who helped bring this vision to life.

Huge thank you to the collaborators who made the night possible:

Walter, Celeste and the entire team at @chryslermuseum for creating the space for this conversation through food and art.
@nyree.dowdy for the powerful storytelling and historical perspective.
The @tasteunlimited and @groovingourmets culinary team who supported the execution behind the scenes.

This was a special one.

Just a kid from Haiti, telling stories the best way I know how — through food.

More to come.
