HAPPY BAT SUMMER!
Neil Fridd is my old pal coming to play songs from the new Terror Pigeon! record “BAT OUT OF HEAVEN”. Next Sunday August 11 is a good time to come out and play at the Black Box at AS220. Also performing will be local favorites YONKS! and Blue Milk Run (members of Lemon Demon) the pop punk band of a galaxy far far away. This will also be the debut of “Regular Bradley” Mehlenbacher’s External Occipital Protuberance Area. He is without a doubt the leading parody artist of Rhode Island and has been dubbed “The Weird Al of Woonsocket”. This is a night not to be missed!

I first met Neil in the 00s at SUNY Purchase when we were playing a Harry and the Potters show with the Hungarian Horntails. Neil showed us his place. He was working on some amazing props and light displays he was building for his own shows. His place was a storage room in the student center that he was entirely living and working out of. A great scam! His enthusiasm is contagious and he can make anything out of a trip to home depot. He asked me for years if he could do special effects for a Harry and the Potters tour and he went on the road with us eventually in 2019 and built a giant inflatable dragon out of fans and garbage bags and a phoenix that cried tears so much that it wet my keyboard the first night of the tour rendering it useless for the rest of the night! Truly a legend! His show is guaranteed to stand out in your memory should you choose to attend! I am going to play sax on at least one song from Bat out of Heaven so watch out! by @regularbradley

I won the “Design-A-Beer” contest at Lops Brewery!

So I had two mémères - Mémère Lessard was from Trois Riveres Quebec, and Mémère Calonne was from Tourcoing France. The blue is for Quebec, and the style is traditional to the Tourcoing area (and close to what they would have drank ☺️)

Lops will be making this beer, and there will be a release party probably around the summer. 🎉 by @regularbradley

Meet Billy!

We weren’t planning on another dog for a while, but this 13 year old schnoodle needed rescuing and who am I to say no.

He came home yesterday and is settling in nicely. He’s a little scared of the dishwasher but it’s ok, he found a safe space during the noise.

If anyone local has an elderly dog sized hole in your home that needs filling, please check out Vintage Pet Rescue in Foster RI for some adorable solutions to this problem. It is an AMAZING place and I can’t believe how smoothly and quickly the process went. by @regularbradley
