“Dunk only” 😤 Episode 11: Kadour Ziani, Slam Nation Co-Founder and author of “Unlock Mobility - 7 Postures” 💪🏀 I met up with Kadour @veniceball Legend’s Day at 7am (watch Episode 7 to learn about that whole day!) Even though we had just woken up, he immediately started dunking. Keep in mind he is 51 YEARS OLD and only 5’11” 👀 In his prime, Kadour recorded a 56 inch vertical jump. He has also dunked over 30,000 times in his 33 year professional dunking career. His longevity tips were super helpful and shared how they help activate his body. Kadour has the “Dunk or Die” mindset, which is what keeps him going. He rewarded himself with breakfast after dunking and highlighted that he listens to his body by eating organic, fresh food 🥗 His upbringing with 11 brothers and sisters meant he was always learning in the “School of Hard Knocks.” But Kadour only started taking basketball seriously after watching the USA Dream Team in the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona 🥇 He was inspired by Jordan—and was able to exceed Jordan’s jumping ability after dunking from the free throw line AND SIMULTANEOUSLY dunking over a car 🚗 He’s also able to KICK THE RIM. So I asked him what his real secret is, and he took me to an Asian message parlor at the Venice Beach boardwalk haha 😂 Reflecting on his journey, Kodour’s mission is now to pay it forward and help the next generation of dunkers. But he’s also here for the *regular* hoopers—like me and you 🫡 His book walks through 7 ancestral positions modeled after primal animal movements. These exercises can help anyone stay active and mobile. You can support Kadour by buying his book on Amazon! Just search his name on the website/app… there’s also a link in his profile if that’s easier 📚 What’s your excuse to not dunk now? 🤔 by @regularhoops

Spent 1 week in Jamaica as a volunteer basketball coach with @pmblcamps 🇯🇲🏀 Alongside 50+ other volunteers, we provided coaching, food, and clothing to 2000+ campers! And thank you JetBlue for covering my flights to & from Jamaica ✈️ If you’re interested in being involved next year, please reach out 🙌 #basketball #jamaica #regularhoops #regularhoopers by @regularhoops
Legendary night. Put HoopFuel on the map. Created team HoopFuel last year and was told we sucked, would never win, and much more.... I knew the truth... I knew we had guys injured and it was our first time in these tournaments Now in year 2 we just won the most iconic streetball league in the world and banked $30k! It's almost like the HoopFuel works 😉 Shoutout to every HoopFuel player for putting it on the line and representing for the brand - ONLY THE BEGINNING!! by @regularhoops

I suck at basketball… but have always loved playing the sport. That delusional passion is what inspired me to start Regular Hoops. I didn’t know what I was doing back then, but the mission was always clear: to make regular people feel included in basketball culture. It came from auditing my own social media feed and realizing the industry mostly highlights elite high school, college, NBA, and WNBA players. To be clear, they deserve it. They are skilled professionals. But when I show up to play pickup, 99% of the people on the court are “regular” hoopers. Like…

🎤 The rapper still holding onto hoop dreams Basketball evens the playing field. It brings people from completely different backgrounds together in the most organic way. That connection is what I’ve spent the last three years chasing and telling stories about. I am grateful for every stage of the journey, and I hope it inspires others to tap into the basketball community or pursue something they love… …even if they suck at it. So, Happy World Basketball Day. Hope the rim feels a little wider today. Swish,

We delivered pizza to the @raptors locker room 🍕🏀 The Raptors were in town playing the @brooklynnets, so @alvoalvoalvoalvo baked them some of the best pizza in NYC. While making the pies, @super.rosario, shared… why he started working in the pizza world, what inspired the name ALVO, and how basketball & pizza shops are similar. Buffalo slice is next level btw 🫡 And let us know how many pizzas you think we made ⬇️ #basketball #nba #nyc #brooklyn #pizza #regularhoops #regularhoopers by @regularhoops
