The Jane Bag was inspired by Jane Birkin and the way she carried her bags. She didn’t treat them as something too precious to touch.. She used them, lived with them, and allowed every mark, scratch, and sign of wear to become part of their story.
To us, that’s true luxury. Owning something beautifully made and having the freedom to use it to its fullest extent, knowing it will only become more personal with time.
Made from the highest-quality Italian leather and finished with hand-stitched details, the Jane Bag was created with that same idea in mind. It’s meant to be carried, worn in, and lived with. Over time, the leather will soften, age, and develop a unique patina that tells the story of everywhere you’ve taken it.

This was one of the most fun projects I’ve ever worked on. It gave us the chance to pull inspiration from so many different interests, references, and design ideas we’ve explored over the years. If you wore elite socks with your Sperry’s back in the day, then you know exactly what this one means. 😂 More than just a collaboration, this project represents where Mifland has been and where we’re going. Every detail tells a piece of that story from the natural veg leather and how it will patina over the years to the multi color panels on the billfish.

Thank you to everyone at Sperry and everyone who helped bring this dream to life. I can’t wait to see how they age! If you didn’t already get a pair it’s available now.
