Hi my name is Reg and Ive been living a lot of life lately.
And quite a lovely life at that.

I used to do this thing on my spam where Id have a monthly return/check in and update the two people on there. Honestly looking back I was updating myself and keeping a record, an archive and its cool to have my original unedited thought process.

I have a lot of people on here who follow me and dont really know me so I thought the least I can do is check in and introduce myself. Hi Im Reg and heres some things about me:

- I love having fun with my friends and getting goofy, i think its so much fun to just let loose and have a good time.
- I love making films. Creating worlds that allow other people to feel something and connect with something on a deeper level is why I do what I do. I think thats the greatest privilege to have as an artist. I love it every single day. Ive loved it since I was down in that basement at Las Vegas Academy of the Arts and out in the desert making an Australian adventure film about love and grief.
- I feel my emotions very strongly. Im very in tune to everything going on and experience everything with a goal of learning while doing it.
- I love to write. I want to publish a book one day soon and would love to get in some literary magazines!!
- I want to buy an mp3 player. I am very against the idea of having to be advertised to or give in to a singular entity to listen to music. Everyone needs it and lots of people create it so Id rather give my money directly where I can.
- I am trans and love expressing myself freely without conformity or explanation. I am looking in to getting top surgery soon so I am so freaking excited for that guys. Like top surgery by the end of the year question mark?! Chop off when?! Top surgery countdown coming soon.
- I struggle with slowing down and being patient. Taking my time. This has led to me fighting disordered eating a good chunk of my young adult life. I really want to connect with other people on this because I think the only way out is through and that starts with getting out there and talking to each other. We don’t have to suffer in silence.

- I want to host community events and give energeti by @regulusmakesstuff

I was given the absolute privilege to 2nd Ac on @jordantortorello ‘s CROWBAR this past month and now I finally get to share it with you guys.

This was genuinely one of the best sets I’ve ever been on and it taught me so much about the level of work and quality I demand from myself.
It was so inspiring to work under @jchildersdp while he absolutely killed it with every single shot.

But really, I couldn’t have done it without @moscow.asian as the best freaking 1st a 2nd could ask for. She was patient, she was on it, and she was the only reason I made it through that set alive. Giving me the space to absorb and allowing me to learn under her. I need that. We need people like that if we are going to fuel the next generation. Kristina is freaking inspiring.

Thank you so much @bradrundblade and Jordan for allowing me into the crazy world youve created, it was such an amazing experience.

I was born of cigarette smoke and neon lights.
Of flat land and castles in the desert.
Of rainbow carpet and plastic grass that burnt the bottoms of your feet.
Of you.

I've been holding on to these photos for a long time wondering when the right time to "drop" them or release them was.

I've been thinking a lot about the concept of leaving home and then returning changed. I left Vegas with a grass is greener on the other side mentality. Growing up, always dreaming of the day that I would finally get over the mountain. That I would get to see the world.
I had seen Vegas and I had "seen it all".

Now, I truly don't think I could be more proud to be from where I am from. To have lived the life that I have lived. I have come to the conclusion that instead of making up all of these different lives for me to try and half live, why not try to live the life I have been assigned, fully. I am from Vegas and now I live in LA but that will never erase the memories I carry with me. You can't split a person in two so why try to. I am who I am because of what Ive been through and where Im from and thank god for that.

When I was a kid my mom used to say: "People come from all over the world to see what you grew up with. There really isnt anything like Vegas"

i was working on my portfolio and updating everything i had done, when it hit me.

we really have been through a lot. weve all done so much and changed in immeasurable ways. we have been to so many new places and met incredible people over just the 2 years since weve graduated.

and you’ll notice i say we, this is purposeful.

this is me talking to every single person in my film family. lva and beyond. i am so indescribably proud of you and all that youve accomplished. it may not feel like a lot but we have become completely new people as we grow and change. one thing is for certain though, i never forget how someone affects me. please know that every day i feel your affect and the affect you had on me as we go on into these next chapters. the next projects, the next films, the next homes, the next jobs.

we are living life and you all continue to inspire me to give it my all.

here’s to getting my groove back. in order to feel it again i had to be reminded what it felt like to create with people who feel it too 🫶

Recently I just 2nd Ac’d on @caitmadry ‘s ‘Yes, We are Dating’ and it was an absolute blast!

The entire cast and crew put all of their energy into making it an awesome time and we all really worked very well together for a lot of people who had never met before. We were literally synched up by end of day one and it felt good to be around people who had the same kind of energy about film that i do.

Jackson and Stewart were the best camera teammates i could have asked for, you guys really made the experience for me. When we locked in, we locked in. You guys have taught me genuinely so much.
