ICYMI - We were on the tele last night as special guests closing out the latest episode of the mighty Spicks and Specks on @abcaustralia ! Such a fun show to be apart of with a panel full of funny legends and an equally great audience. And yes, I did have a hair fan… 😂 I really loved being a fly on the wall, seeing the behind the scenes of how these shows work and all the moving parts and people that come together and make these shows what they are! Beach road bang on… joining this one off moment are Bondi locals Krystal Rivvers. Hyper! Come break screens with us.

KRYSTAL RIVVERS is the independent music project of First Nations artist Earl Weir, a Wurundjeri / Boon Wurrung singer-songwriter, guitarist and visual storyteller. Based on Gadigal and Bidjigal Country in Sydney, Krystal Rivvers is a four-piece independent indie/alternative rock band led by Weir.

The band has established a strong presence within Australia’s independent live music sector, performing across major festivals, venues, and touring circuits nationally. Their performance history includes the main stage at Lost Paradise NYE 2024, international touring in Bali, three East Coast Australian tours across 2024, 2025, and 2026, and appearances at major Australian festivals including The Great Escape Festival 2025 (Tasmania), Party in the Paddock 2026 (Tasmania), and the upcoming Yours and Owls Festival 2026 (Wollongong).

The band’s most recent 14-show tour demonstrated significant audience demand and continued growth, including pre-sale sell-out headline performances at Bootleggers in Sydney (220 capacity) and The Old Bar in Melbourne (150 capacity), performances at festivals and venues across Byron Bay and the Victorian coast, a sold-out performance at Swelltime in Torquay, and a performance at Yabun Festival. by @regurgitators

Australia’s music charity for young people The Push will celebrate 40 years of championing young people and Australian music with Push Over – 40 Years of The Push, a landmark celebration at Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne on Saturday 21 November, as part of the Live at the Gardens series, presented by MG Live, The Push and Double J.

Featuring Bodyjar, Frenzal Rhomb, Killing Heidi, Magic Dirt and Regurgitator, this one-day-only specialevent brings together artists whose music didn’t just provide the soundtrack for generations of young Australians, but helped define them. Push Over – 40 Years of The Push channels the spirit of Push Over – Victoria’s longest-running all-ages festival (1992-2013) – a rite of passage that showcased countless local punk, rock and alternative acts and introduced a generation to the thrill of live music.
