KRFK put together another global collab for the Come Together Festival - Sunbul was a rising star violinist and singer in Afghanistan who escaped the Taliban and made it to NYC where she continues to inspire people with her music, in the US, Afghanistan, and across the world! What a delightful melody "Ay Shakh e Gul" is, an original song by Sarban, one of the legendary singers of Afghanistan. I had the pleasure of singing it last week in Hartford, CT, with my dearest friend @arsonfahim playing the piano. Even though we only had 10 minutes to practice this song, I am grateful for the experience! 🥀❤️‍🩹🇦🇫 by @reha_n_13
