Jamshedpur FC was never just another club I played for. It was much more than that for me, both personally and professionally.

Wearing this badge for four seasons gave me memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Together, we created some incredible moments, won the League Shield, broke records, and achieved things that will always remain special to everyone associated with the club.

That is why hearing the news about the possible shutdown of the first-team operations has left me completely speechless.

For almost a decade, Jamshedpur FC has been one of the most stable, professional, and respected clubs in Indian football. It has provided opportunities, confidence, and livelihoods to countless players while giving the people of Jamshedpur something to be proud of, celebrate, and passionately support.

I will always remember the fans. The love they showed the club was unmatched. They filled the stands with energy, passion, and belief, turning the stadium into a true furnace. It is heartbreaking to even imagine those stands not being the same again.

Together, Tata Football Academy and Jamshedpur FC have played a huge role in developing young talent and producing footballers who have gone on to contribute to Indian football at the highest level. Being backed by the Tata Group always brought a sense of stability, trust, and confidence that allowed players to give everything for the badge.

That is why this decision comes as such a surprise. Especially at a time when Indian football needs strong institutions, committed ownership, and long-term vision more than ever.

I sincerely hope the management reconsiders this decision and keeps alive the dreams, hopes, and passion of so many players, staff, fans, and young footballers who look up to this club.

Jamshedpur FC means far too much to too many people for its story to end here. 🙏❤️ by @rehenesh

What a way to finish our final game of the season.
Yes, it may not have been the ending we truly wanted, but closing the season with a strong and convincing win against a tough opponent feels special in its own way.

Proud of the effort, character, and togetherness this team showed throughout the journey. Now it’s time to rest, recover, and come back stronger for what’s ahead.

The journey hasn’t been easy at all, but it has taught me so much along the way.
