⁨ לפעמים בחיים אנחנו בוחרים דרך, ולפעמים אנחנו זוכים לבחור את האדם שילך איתנו בה. אני בחרתי בך. לא במקרה, לא מתוך מזל, אלא כי עמוק בפנים ידעתי שאתה האדם שאיתו אני רוצה לעבור את כל המסע הזה שנקרא החיים.

יום הולדת 50 שמח לאהבה שלי. לילד הנצחי שלי. לחבר הכי טוב שלי. למאהב שלי. ולאבא הכי מדהים שיכולתי לחלום לילדים שלנו.

אתה גבר חזק, אבל העוצמה שלך אף פעם לא באה על חשבון הרוך. יש בך לב ענק, אינסוף אהבה, סבלנות שלא נגמרת ויכולת נדירה לראות תמיד את האור גם כשהדרך מאתגרת. אתה יצירתי, חכם, מלא תשוקה לחיים, והדבר שאני הכי מעריכה בך הוא שאתה אף פעם לא מרים ידיים. גם כשכבד. גם כשכואב. גם כשהכול נראה בלתי אפשרי. אתה פשוט ממשיך לצעוד, מושך את כולנו קדימה, ועל הגב הרחב והבטוח שלך בנית לנו בית, משפחה וחיים מלאי אהבה.

אני מסתכלת על הילדים שלנו ורואה אותך בכל אחד מהם. את הלב שלך, את הערכים שלך, את הדוגמה האישית שאתה נותן להם בכל יום מחדש. אין מתנה גדולה מזו.

לעשור החדש שנפתח היום אני מאחלת לך שהעבודה הקשה, ההקרבה והמאמץ של כל השנים יהפכו סוף סוף לשקט, לנחת ולתחושת סיפוק. שתדע לעצור לרגע בתוך המרוץ האינסופי של החיים ולהביט סביבך. לראות את כל מה שבנית במו ידיך. להבין כמה אנשים אוהבים אותך, כמה חיים נגעת בהם, וכמה אתה משמעותי עבורנו.

אני מאחלת לך שהחיוך הכובש הזה שלך, זה שאני עדיין לא מצליחה לעמוד בפניו גם כשאתה מצליח לשגע אותי, יהיה על הפנים⁩ שלך בכל יום. שתצחק יותר, שתדאג פחות, שתגשים עוד חלומות, שתמשיך לעוף גבוה, אבל גם תזכור ליהנות מהדרך.

תודה שאתה אתה. תודה שאתה בוחר בנו מחדש בכל יום. תודה שאתה האהבה הגדולה של חיי והשותף הכי טוב שיכולתי לבקש.

אני אוהבת אותך יותר ממה שמילים יכולות לתאר, ומתרגשת לדעת שהפרקים הכי יפים בסיפור שלנו עדיין לפנינו.

Happy Father’s Day to the most incredible husband, father, and Abba.
Emma, Lev, and Pele are our greatest achievement and our dreams come true. Every day, I look at them and feel grateful not only for who they are, but for the father they have in you.
Thank you for always putting our family first. Thank you for staying focused on building a beautiful life for us and for making choices every day that put our family at the center of everything you do. As I sit here on vacation with our three beautiful children, I’m reminded that these moments, these memories, and this life we are so fortunate to live are possible because of your hard work, dedication, and determination. You dreamed big for us and then worked tirelessly to make those dreams a reality.
You have given our children the greatest gift: your example. They watch you persevere when things are difficult, stay patient when life gets complicated, lead with kindness, and never stop believing in what is possible. You teach them to dream fearlessly, work hard, and never put limits on themselves.
You are their protector, their guide, their biggest supporter, and the person they look up to every single day. The confidence, values, and love you pour into them will stay with them forever.
More than anything, thank you for showing our children what it means to love your family wholeheartedly. No matter how busy life gets, you always choose us.
We are endlessly grateful, endlessly proud, and endlessly blessed to have you as our Abba.
We love you more than words can ever say.

לפני 11 שנים הפכת אותנו לאמא ואבא
ומאז אנחנו פשוט עומדים מהצד ומתפעלים ממך.
את ילדה עוצמתית, חזקה מבפנים,
מנהיגה אמיתית לא כי מישהו אמר,
אלא כי זה פשוט מי שאת.
יש בך ביטחון נדיר,
ידיעה ברורה של מי את ומה את רוצה,
יכולת לעמוד על שלך ברוך, בחוכמה ועם לב גדול.
את נאמנה לחברות שלך,
אוהבת אותן באמת, מרימה, תומכת,
ויודעת להיות שם בדיוק כמו שחברה אמיתית צריכה להיות.
יש בך אור שלא ניתן לפספס,

14 years of choosing each other. Every minute, every second through the easy, the messy, the beautiful, and the hard.

People always say thank you on anniversaries, and of course, I feel so much gratitude but today is also about the truth: love isn’t always easy. It’s choosing each other even when we drive each other crazy, even when we’re disappointed, even when life throws challenges we didn’t ask for. It’s choosing to fall in love again and again, to keep the spark alive, to work for those butterflies instead of waiting for them.

Somewhere between all of it, we’re still those “fools in love” just like our song, Bob Dylan singing Elvis Presley’s version. And maybe that’s the magic… choosing to stay a little foolish for each other, no matter what life brings.

Thank you for being the father I always dreamed of for our kids. Thank you for picking me up when I’m down and celebrating me when I’m up. Thank you for being such a strong, steady force in our life for being my partner, my best friend, and my home.

Thank you for your patience. Thank you for loving me. And most of all, thank you for choosing me every single day.

This year, Passover looked different 🤍
Smaller. Quieter. More intimate.

Just my immediate family and my parents and somehow, it became one of the most meaningful Seders I’ve ever experienced.

I had the privilege of preparing everything side by side with my mom the shopping, the cooking, the little details that turn a table into a memory. Those moments alone are something I’ll carry with me forever.

Growing up, Passover wasn’t easy for me. As a child with dyslexia, sitting around the table and reading from the Haggadah felt overwhelming. I used to avoid it, hoping my turn would somehow be skipped.

But this year… something shifted.
Maybe it was the intimacy. Maybe it was time. Maybe it was healing.

For the first time, I fully took part. Every person at the table read, and so did I. And it felt empowering, emotional, and deeply personal.

At 40 years old, I found a new connection to something that once felt so distant.

And above us all, a vintage Gordon Beach photo a quiet reminder of home, of roots, of everything we carry with us no matter where we are.
Missing Israel deeply, and holding onto hope and prayers for the safety of all our loved ones in the Holy Land 🤍

Grateful. Present. Whole.
Thankful for everything that HaKadosh Baruchu continues to give us ✨

This Seder will stay with me for life. 🕊️

P.S. If you’re wondering why Chen is wearing sunglasses at the table spring allergies had other plans 😎🌸 (and yes… they officially canceled my dreamy backyard Seder 🙃)

חבר שלי מזל טוב אוהבת אותך עד אין סוף רוצה תמיד ללכת איתך בשביל לא משנה איזה שביל לא משנה איזה דרך רוצה שהיא תמיד תיהיה איתך אתה המתנה הכי גדולה שקיבלת בחיים מאחלת לך להמשיך בדרך הכל כך מיוחדת שלך שתמשיך להיות אתה להביעה דעה גם עם היא לא פופולרית אתה חייה שלא פגשתי מעולם עם כוחות על אתה אוהב ומלמד ולומד יודע להודעות בטעיות כי אין מה לעשות מי שחיי גם טועה תמשיך פשוט ליהיות אתה כי גם עם אני מתלוננת ואני כן אל תשנה דבר שהלב הגדול והרחב שלך ימשיך לפעול בשביל כל הסובבים אותך אוהבת אותך קוצו שלי אתה הברכה לחיים שלי מזל טוב ילד נצחי שלי @rehubben by @rehubben
