Grief and joy aren’t opposites.
A rainbow baby doesn’t replace what was lost, but shows that joy can exist alongside the ache.
Every tiny kick, every new week, and every ultrasound is a reminder that life can hold heartbreak and hope at the same time. 🌈

BLW World Series win ✅
Disney World ✅

What an insane few months it’s been! Traveling to play wiffle ball has been a dream and capping it off with a championship seems so surreal.

Props to @blwwiffleball for putting on such an amazing product all season long. If you’re not invested, get it now because the game is about to take off.

Meet the lineup 📋

Krae Sparks - Director of Baseball/Softball

High School: Greenwood Christian Academy
College: Indiana Wesleyan University & Franklin College

Q: What’s one thing you want every athlete to learn from you?
A: Their identity is not defined by what they do on the field. While you love the game and give everything you have to it, at some point your playing days will end. A lot of players go through an identity crises—I did. Your identity is found in the Lord.

Q: What’s a common mistake you see players make?
A: Players and parents can easily get hung up on what they see on social media. Some people expect to make large gains in short periods of time. While this can happen, most progress takes place with a clear plan with consistency over time. The best master the boring.

Q: Why did you want to become an instructor?
A: I did Corporate America for awhile. I wanted to do something where I felt that I could make more of an impact. The only things that I knew I enjoyed were the Lord, people, and baseball. Once I did a few sessions, I fell in love with it.

Q: What lessons from your playing career do you bring to athletes?
A: A holistic approach produces the most success. I took things for granted when I was young. I should have done way more in terms of training, lifting, nutrition, etc. Every athlete would surprise themselves if they truly bought into the entire process of development.

Favorite baseball/softball player growing up?
Ken Griffey Jr.

Ryan Barrett — Director of Hitting Development

HS: Evansville Central
- All-Metro Player of The Year
- All-County Team
- North/South All-Star
- Multi-record holder
College: University of Evansville

Q: What’s one thing you want every athlete to learn from you?
A: Work ethic will always outlast natural talent. Talent can open doors, but consistent effort is what creates long-term success.
Talent × Effort = Skill
Skill × Effort = Success
The athletes who are willing to put in the work, day after day, are the ones who separate themselves.

Q: What separates good players from great players?
A: Mentality.
The best players believe in themselves. There’s a fine line between confidence and arrogance, but grea by @reidwerner3
