🌊 Completed in Fall 2024, Falling Water acts as the gateway from the San Pedro Creek Culture Park to the Westside Creeks Ecosystem Restoration Project. This piece, captures highway runoff in its palm and directs the water into a bioswale, filtering out pollutants before it enters the Creek. If you haven't seen it for yourself, you can access the piece from Cevallos Street and head South or Furnish Avenue and head North. by @reigelman

A Record! 🏆🏆🏆🏆

I’m incredibly honored to share that FOUR of my projects have been selected among the 2026 CODAawards Top 100 public art projects in the world 🌎 :

• Meadow of the Deer 🦌 – Raleigh, NC
• The Giving Tree 🏜️ – Phoenix, AZ
• FALLING WATER 💧 – San Antonio, TX
• THRESHOLD 🚪– New Bedford, MA

Public art is a team sport. Every one of these projects represents years of collaboration with visionary clients, fabricators, engineers, landscape architects, architects, installers, arts administrators, city staff, and countless others who believed in the work and helped bring it to life.

Restoration at work!

Mark Reigelman’s 17’ tall door, “Threshold” has recently been restored by Antoine St.Pierre from @paintingtwon Please make a visit to Custom House Square to enjoy this freshly painted and newly mirrored iconic sculpture honoring New Bedford Abolition Row.

Parts are going up on Bebop Bridge! 🎷

About 1,000 pieces installed so far and roughly 3,000 more to go.

It’s still hard to see the full composition, but little by little the bridge is starting to find its rhythm.

One of the goals of Bebop Bridge 🎶 was finding ways to translate the energy and structure of bebop music into physical form.

The concrete barriers pull from the ascending and descending melodic movements found throughout bebop improvisation. We began studying scores visually, mapping melodic contour lines over songs like Charlie Parker’s Ornithology, and then translating those movements into the cast concrete forms now taking shape in the shop. Site work begins next week!
