Yinzer Night at the @washwildthings ball park was black and gold at its best. From Bob Pompeani and a beautiful rendition of the national anthem by Addy Biagini to pierogi, Isaly’s barbecue chipped ham sandwiches, and nonstop Pittsburgh pride, the ballpark was filled with all things Pittsburgh. Favorite bites:

Blueberry 🫐 Basil: Flatbread with Olive Oil, Salt,
Pepper, Mozzarella Cheese, Blueberries, Basil, Balsamic Glaze. I literally loved this so much.

I can’t end this without saying that the service was EXCELLENT. The staff were so knowledgeable about the menu and even walked around the taproom to check on guests 💯

$2.50 Tuesdays are the best deal in Pittsburgh-area sports.

The @washwildthings are running $2.50 Tuesdays at EQT Park to celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary. $2.50 tickets, parking, hot dogs, beer, soda, popcorn and novelty ice cream. You can even score a “Little Washington” (as in Washington, Pa.) bobblehead if you’re one of the first 250 through the gates.

The rest of the food is a great deal, too. Funnel cake fries ($8), a $5 ice cream as big as your head and a midgame tradition I think every ballpark needs, the $1 cookie and milk combo.

The baseball is also legit. We caught a real pitchers’ duel until the Lake Erie Crushers broke it open late, and a lot of these guys go on to bigger leagues.

Remaining $2.50 Tuesdays this season:
Aug. 4 vs. Down East Bird Dawgs, 7:05 p.m.
Aug. 18 vs. Evansville Otters, 7:05 p.m.
Sept. 1 vs. Gateway Grizzlies, 7:05 p.m.

@choolaahyum is our new favorite weeknight stop when I'm not in the mood to cook because,
