𝑭𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒈𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕:
Hello, my name is Iwo. I’m 25 years old and have been involved in club music for the past few years.
While electronic music is where I feel most at home, I’ve always been fascinated by the many different ways music can exist and be experienced, from classical and jazz to folk, ambient and experimental music.

This set is, in a way, a tribute to my dad, who introduced me to music and taught me how to really listen to it.
He showed me that music can create a space of its own, and that sometimes the best way to experience it is simply to stop and pay attention.
He also passed on his love for travelling, which became another important part of myself.

This selection is built around the idea of a journey, accompanied by rain and constantly changing weather.
It reminds me of childhood car rides with my dad, listening to whatever he had chosen for the road.
I wanted to recreate some of that feeling here. Moving between familiar, timeless pieces and sounds that gradually build tension, distance and a sense of space.

I hope you will enjoy it,
Iwo

@relic.radio ep.1 -->
losing faith w/ @m1ddlecase

“Hello, my name is middlecase. I’m a 22y/o curator and sound designer raised in Poland, currently living in the Netherlands. Through my works I like to talk about spirituality, formation of memories and cultures, ecology and the internet. It’s my first radio show, excited to share it with you all :)

In this episode I’d like to present to you a story of losing (and gaining) faith. In my selection I tried to recreate the multitude of emotional stages I went through in adolescence; the imposed certainty radiating from my childhood memories of the church, the joys, fears and angst of teenage individualism, and above all, the short moments of clarity in a sea of confusion. Ultimately, this set is about finding the walls of my internal world. I hope, that listening to it you will see a reflection of your own story, and fuck with my music taste.

With love,
middlecase
