Dark by 5 PM starting today. Three easy ways to make your lighting feel cozy instead of harsh 💡

Daylight savings ends this weekend, which means more evenings at home with the lights on. If your living room feels warm all day and flat by dinner, it’s usually the overhead light working alone.

1. Add a lamp! Table, floor, sconce, anything that brings light lower in the room.
2. Swap to warm white bulbs and look for 2700K on the box.
3. Put your lights on a dimmer. Same fixture but feels like a completely different evening.

Are you a big light or lamp person? Let us know! And if you want help finding lamps and sconces that work for your space, come see us at PDI.

👋 Meet Gean 👋

We love working with alabaster, and these pendants are no exception.

Alabaster is unique, where each piece is slightly different due to its natural coloring. No two pieces will look the exact same, and that’s part of the fun! A one-of-a-kind piece really makes your home feel elevated and luxurious.

Back at the @southeasternshowhouse presented by @atlantahomesmag, we were so thrilled to have helped select these fixtures for the entry hallway of the home. We’re already counting down the days until this year’s holiday house coming your way soon 😋 by @relyonpdi

Progress update! Check out this project in-progress vs. complete. This shower is STUNNING - shout out to @driftanddwelldesign for sharing these gorgeous images.

@brizofaucet took us to Chicago, and we brought some of our designer partners along for the ride!

Between the incredible architecture tours and a sneak peek at the new Faircroft kitchen collection, it was truly a trip that we’ll be talking about for a while.

Thank you to Brizo for spoiling us and to our customers for being the best travel buddies. Can’t wait for the next trip! 🫶 by @relyonpdi

Fall is in full swing, and we're thrilled! Here's our decor and design inspo leading us through this season 🍂 by @relyonpdi

Design trends worth stealing this year 🤓

1. Lean into textures that complement each other instead of matching everything too perfectly. Think: a linen sofa next to a lacquered table, or a woven rug under a glossy finish. Intentionally curated contrast is the kind of detail that makes a room feel layered instead of flat.

2. Color drenching makes your room feel cohesive with minimal effort. Using the same hue on walls, trim, and ceiling makes your room read calm and curated. It's one decision for one single room that still feels elevated.

3. Use pieces that are built to age. It's important to pick products that look good on both day one and one thousand. We've seen an increase in materials like unlacquered brass, natural wood, and leather that's meant to patina over time, making spaces last a lifetime and evolve over it. These make your home feel collected and truly livable.

4. Lighting should do more than just fill the room, so layer it. Use varying light fixtures across your room that work together and complement each other and the space as a whole. Your sconces help elevate the room pendants, and lamps are the finishing touch. These pieces working together create depth and mood in a way one single lighting piece never will.

Say hello to @lizwilliamsinteriors! 🤩

She's a residential interior designer with 33 years of experience and a style she describes as traditional with a twist! Liz's current favorite product found at PDI is the Kohler Castia faucet by Studio McGee. In her words: "it's like jewelry." 💍 Right now she's also leaning into wallpaper and unlacquered brass as her go-to finish.

We love having her as a PDI partner and can't wait to share more of her work! by @relyonpdi
