IYKYK w. BLACK DEVIL DISCO CLUB (Live), REMAIN, HI.lo
Proposé par MINDTRIP & MEANT RECORDS en collaboration avec Nido 🤝

📅 DIMANCHE 18 OCTOBRE
🕰️ 18h - 01H

🔗 LINE-UP 🔗

✪ BLACK DEVIL DISCO CLUB - LIVE :
IYKYN.

✪ HI.lo (Mindtrip / Marseille) - DJSet

✪ REMAIN (TrusT / MEANT Records) - DJSet

Arthur Johnson’s ‘MY SWEET’ is an EP.
EP as in Extended Play. The old-school way.
Meaning there are five tunes - The five tunes make an EP - The EP is ‘MY SWEET’.

‘My Sweet’ is also the name of the 4th track on the EP the sharp ones will say and the sharp ones are right. Not the point here though.

Thought, made, shaped and built by @arthur_johnson_89 and @remainmusic to be listened to in a row - ‘à la suite’ - like the short album it is. Like an EP.

But you can also pick up just one of the tracks if you feel like it’s the way it should be. Each can stand on its own. Each can be considered a single. Listened to as if it were one or played the same way.
The MEANT way.

Because they’re good. Each and every one of them.

Road-tested till the very last minute, improved to the moon and back before finally being approved.

Like the fine piece of Musical Marquetry ‘MY SWEET’ is, full of secrets if you give the music a proper chance to surprise you. As always with Arthur. Merci Arthur <3

Expect a 12’’ vinyl with exclusives & remixes in a bit…
With Love, Always 🖤

New in stock - comment to order!

A shimmering blend of disco pulse, electro-pop sheen, and new wave attitude lands on DEATH ON WAX with DW000003 vinyl. Three artists, three moods — from cosmic dancefloor energy to darker synth-driven grooves.

Marc Houle - Walk Sign is On (REMAIN & daWad Remix)

Give a name to the unicorn. Go for it ! Here we just call her Debb. ‘Cause she’s one of a kind. And because @remainmusic’s teenage passion for Debbie has never faded. It’s an homage. To the love of a lifetime. Plus Debb - the unicorn, not Harry - is not a Blondie. No possible mistake on this one.

Two of a kind. Both Unique. So is their mix. One of a kind. No Beatport genre for that one…yet. Serious techno, dumb track, weirdos got it straight. Words don’t come easy to me today. Thoughts go with Bonnie. Playing Philip Glass backwards again and again, still high from the show La Horde gave us in Marseille on the night Bonnie left. Lost in France. No coincidence. We’ll leave it to you.

Just listen to their music, if you will - you’ll get to know them a lot. It’s their truth.

Their remix is as good as it is respectful of @marchoule’s original track. Synthwave-d, half mix half cover, new vox on top - bonuses are for free.
Influences hit hard when they have to.
