One of many ways to do it. Here’s one that pads the knuckles abit more than the other many simple ways you can do it. I particularly like this one as it keeps space in the palm of my hands to allow me to grip the skip rope, battle ropes, hand weights, barbells, etc more easily whenever I’m mixing boxing into a circuit! Give it a go or share it with someone you know who tends to get sore knuckles whenever they box. Hopefully this helps! If you are still feeling those knuckles while boxing, I highly recommend using Winnings knuckle pads in your wraps or avoiding bagwork until your knuckles heal up! You don’t always need to hit a heavy bag to improve your boxing. Shadowboxing is arguably just as effective! Let me know how you go! #boxer #boxingcoach #wraptutorials #boxing #🥊 #eliteboxingandtrainingwhakatipu by @remarkablesboxingandtraining

Hey team! Here are the punch numbers and a quick how to. There are many other factors that can help you increase your punching power. But once you get this main one down, you’ll feel a difference immediately. Throw every punch with the intention of knowing you can throw the next punch after without losing your balance! It’s all about weight transfer. Come down to @queenstownsnapfitness for our boxfit classes at 5.30pm to help you improve your technique and have fun while doing it. Members = free entry and $20 for non members. #boxing #boxer #boxingcoach #boxingtechnique #boxingtraining #boxingcombos #punches #boxer #boxfit #boxinglife #remarkablesboxingandtraining #queenstown by @remarkablesboxingandtraining

LAST BUT MOST CERTAINLY NOT LEAST🥊❤️ After coming back from an incredibly serious injury, having Harlem being able to get back in there, move, learn and take part in this course is a massive achievement in itself. It’s been awesome to see the determination and resilience it’s taken to get to this point — and I’m genuinely stoked that he was able to jump in and complete the course with us. 🙌 Sometimes the biggest wins aren’t about how hard you can punch or how sharp you look on the mitts… it’s about getting back up, putting yourself out there and having a crack again. Proud of you, my uso!!! 👊 And after everything you’ve been through, we can officially add CERTIFIED MITT WEAPON to the comeback story! 🥊🔥 Onwards and upwards from here! 💯 #boxingcoach #boxingcommunity #boxingpadwork #thecomeback #remarkablesboxingandtraining by @remarkablesboxingandtraining
THIS ONE’S A LITTLE DIFFERENT 🥊❤️ I’ve been training this weapon for years, but this time he signed up with a pretty awesome reason behind it — to learn enough so he can coach and hold the mitts for his own daughter. From being the one getting put through his paces… to now being able to pass that knowledge on to the next generation. He also makes appearances in my kids classes every now and then to help me train them up, which is more helpful than you know! 👊 Safe to say, Dad has officially earned his mitt-holding credentials 😂🥊 Proud of you brother! STAY TUNED FOR WHEN WE ANNOUNCE THE NEXT TIME WE RUN THE NEXT PADWORK COURSE! ALSO, FINAL BOOTCAMP INCOMING 12/10/26 - 6/12/26 DM FOR MORE INFO 🥊 4 SPOTS LEFT!!! boxing boxingcoach boxingtraining boxingcommunity remarkablesboxingandtraining by @remarkablesboxingandtraining
Another one ❤️ Coming into this with only a few Boxfit sessions under her belt, she jumped in, gave everything a crack and absolutely smashed i, giving the course a 10/10👏🔥 But the coolest part? Her reason for doing the course was to build the skills and confidence to be able to hold the pads and help her boys with their boxing. 🥊 From throwing a few punches at Boxfit… to now being the one able to coach you through combos 👏 Awesome effort, awesome attitude, and another CERTIFIED MITT WEAPON added to the crew! 😤🥊💥 Now go put those boys to work! 😂 #boxing #boxingcoach #boxingtraining #boxingcommunity #remarkablesboxingandtraining by @remarkablesboxingandtraining
SO PROUD OF THIS ONE! @hannahurricane_kr.nz has seriously come a long way when we first started. And it gives me great pleasure to award her to be a certified weapon on the mitts! STAY TUNED FOR MORE REVIEWS INCOMING AND FOR WHEN WE ANNOUNCE THE NEXT TIME WE RUN THE NEXT PADWORK COURSE! #boxing #boxer #boxingcoach #girlswhobox #remarkablesboxingandtraining by @remarkablesboxingandtraining
Massive congratulations to these guys! So proud of everyone this weekend that participated in the debut of my Remarkables Pad work course level 1&2! And a huge thank you from the bottom of my heart, it truly has been a long time coming. We had gone through 2 x 8 hour back to back days of a non stop crash course of the knowledge I have acquired over my 14 years of Boxing. Being able to equip individuals who have had experience to even someone who had very little experience, with the tools that will be able to teach the fundamentals of boxing to others is truly rewarding as having more coaches allows it to become more accessible to our community! So well done to you guys and all the best with to wherever your boxing journey leads you! ❤️ Stay tuned for the next time I launch the dates. I have learned a lot from running this one, which only means these courses will keep getting better from here! Here’s some clips of the team who came up with their own combos to do in their assessments! How good is this! I can’t wait to see their progress down the track! And finally, a massive thank you to Remarkable primary School for allowing us to hire your space!
