A truly special alternative to the traditional wedding guestbook! ✨

Joe and Katie came to us wanting something unforgettable for Meredith & Patrick’s August 15th Mackinac Island wedding. We crafted this custom multi-layered wood art piece featuring the iconic Mackinac Bridge, Round Island Lighthouse, and the Straits—framed with a wide signature mat so their guests could leave handwritten love, well-wishes, and memories throughout the night.

Now, instead of sitting on a shelf in a book, their wedding memories become a centerpiece on the wall for a lifetime.

Congratulations, Meredith & Patrick! 🥂💍

"Island love at its finest! 🏝️✨

It was so great having Mackinac Redhead @mackinacredhead pop into the shop! She happened to catch me right in the middle of custom-engraving a pair of horse coasters for a guest.
Thank you so much for featuring Remember Mackinac! Check out her post, and come see us next time you’re strolling down Main Street."

Today was one of those moments I'll never forget.

This afternoon, Morgen rushed into Remember Mackinac with an urgent request.

He had just 30 minutes before one of the biggest moments of his life @harbourviewinn

His videographer had just stepped off the Shepler's ferry, time was running out, and he needed a personalized ring box for his wedding to Gabrielle.
There wasn't time to overthink it.
The design came together in minutes. The laser fired up. Every second counted.

Just a short time later, Morgen walked out the door with a custom engraved ring box that would become part of his wedding day forever.
As a maker, these are the moments that mean the most to me.

We don't simply engrave wood.
We help preserve memories.
Knowing that something created in my shop will be there when Morgen places Gabrielle's ring on her finger is an incredible honor.

Congratulations, Morgen & Gabrielle! Thank you for trusting Remember Mackinac to be a small part of your love story.

This may have been the fastest custom engraving I've ever completed...

...but it will be remembered for a lifetime. ❤️

Every love story is unique, and their wedding gift should be too. 🌲🗺️

When Haley dropped by @remembermackinac , we collaborated on this custom layered wood map plaque for Jesse & Caroline (Est. 8.1.26). Capturing the island's landmarks and memories in multi-dimensional laser-cut wood makes for a keepsake that lasts a lifetime.

Congrats to Jesse & Caroline! 🥂
