The moment of truth! 🎯 The ReMIX35 is fully assembled and executing its very first Selftest & Calibration routine.

We put the ReMIX35 through a full thermal camera inspection to monitor operating temperatures across the board. Checking key components under load ensures efficient heat dissipation, safe operating levels, and long-term reliability.

Powering up for the ultimate interaction test! 🔥 Now that the extended bench is wired, it's time to see how the ReMIX35 hardware communicates with its sensors and peripherals.

Here is what we tested in real-time:
1️⃣ Filament Sensor: Smooth detection with no lag! ✔️
2️⃣ Super PINDA Sensor: Triggering perfectly on call. ✔️
3️⃣ Print Fan Cooler: Testing response speeds. ✔️

First Power-On & Official Firmware Flash! ⚡ (Part 3/7)

Time to test the PCBAs! 🔍 In this step of the ReMIX35 project, we built a simplified test bench to make sure everything works perfectly.

Here’s the breakdown:
1️⃣ Connected the power cable to the motherboard.
2️⃣ Wired up the LCD display cables to both the motherboard and display board.
3️⃣ Plugged in the ESP-01S module.
4️⃣ Connected the power supply lines and flipped the switch!

...And we hit a classic maker moment! 😅 The screen immediately alerted us: "No firmware found in the internal flash!"

No problem at all. We jumped straight to the official Prusa Research website, grabbed the latest firmware version for the MK3.5, loaded it onto a USB drive, and plugged it into the board. A quick reboot, a fast-forward flash, and boom—everything worked perfectly! 🎉

Title: Next Step: Bringing the Display to Life! 📺 (Part 2/7)

The sequence continues! 🔄 Now it’s the display’s turn for the ReMIX35.

For this setup, we connected four cables to the programmer connector and linked the device programmer to the laptop. Once again, our trusty Python-based CLI utility tool did the heavy lifting to flash the initial firmware onto the board.

But we didn't stop there. For the next step, we used an extra programmed board, connected three more cables, hooked it up via USB, and used Arduino's IDE to successfully flash our display board! 💻🎉

Hardware is locked and loaded. Next up: time to flash the official firmware on the test bench. Stay tuned for part 3!
