Meet the maker! Hi, I’m Stacey (Stace, if you like.) I started sewing this year to try to cut back on scrolling-making an effort to create instead of consume!

Discovering upcycling has opened up a whole new world of possibilities, and I love saving clothing that would otherwise sit in the back of someone’s closet, or worse, get thrown away.

I love the challenge of making well-loved pieces into something new!

Can confirm this one was super cozy for fall activities on the first crispy weekend of the season!

I grabbed this You Are Enough hoodie off of ThredUp and put on some flannel sleeves. The pocket is leftover from a recent project, and the flower is from the floral you all loved recently too!

I found a Dwight Schrute hoodie on a thrift rack months ago not knowing what I’d do with it…but I couldn’t leave it there for $3. I knew my coworker would love it if I ever made something for her with it.

It was time to pull it together when I had leftover teal cuffs and pocket from two other hoodies (that brought out that color in the background) plus an outgrown Northface.
