Isabgol walked so psyllium husk could become a wellness trend.

But before we all start treating it like the answer to every gut, glucose, cholesterol and life problem, tiny reminder: it is still a supplement. Useful, yes. Magic, no!

The research around psyllium is genuinely interesting, especially for bowel regularity, LDL cholesterol, blood sugar control and IBS-C symptoms. But for metabolic health, it works best as part of the boring stuff we all hate hearing about: food, movement, sleep, hydration, stress, and actual medical advice when needed.

Traditional remedies deserve curiosity. Science helps us understand what works, what doesn’t, and what needs caution.

Sometimes life slows down so you can finally catch up with yourself.
A small reminder for anyone moving through a quieter season of rest, reflection, healing, and becoming.
