A POETRY NETWORK FOR STUDENTS 🧠🎤📚

On Thursday 22 October, House of Vox is launching a new project at SOAS Students’ Union, bringing students together through poetry, research, performance and conversation.

We want students from across the university to come down and bring what they’re working on. That could be:

* poetry or music
* an essay or piece of research
* an idea from your degree
* something you’ve published or are developing

There’ll be live performances, conversations and opportunities to get on stage and share your work.

University shouldn’t just be about studying in silos. We want to create a network where students across different subjects can meet, exchange ideas and build together.

One Year Down…We Are Just Getting Started🫡‼️

I’ll be so real even writing this is an emotional one cah somehow turning an idea between a group of brothers into something bigger than any of us could’ve imagined has managed to already be a powerhouse in our community.

So more than anything, we just want to say thank you.
To every person who has bought a ticket, sat in an audience, shared a post, come to a workshop, performed alongside us, collaborated with us, opened a door for us, trusted us with an opportunity, sent an encouraging message or simply told somebody else about what we’re building. Bmt thank you maynnn

In just one year, you’ve allowed us to dream bigger than we did when we started and somehow it still feels like we’re only on page one.

So here’s to the first year.
To everyone who has been part of the story so far, this house belongs to you too.

Happy 1st Birthday, House of VOX. 🏠🖤
Year Two… yeahhh it’s about to get VOXYYYYY

And we close the Starter Packs with the Reverend himself. ⛪️😭

@remsleep_3

The friendly neighbourhood pastor.
The anime encyclopedia.
The man whose WiFi is apparently fighting spiritual warfare every Monday meeting.

One minute he’s talking scripture, the next it’s Marvel Rivals, anime, breaking down a poem… or telling the mandem his WiFi is bugging for the 47th time. 😭

But underneath all of that is one of the biggest hearts in the House. a poet, performer, actor and brother who has been part of the madness from the beginning. 🏠

This is the Reverend Starter Pack.

And with that… you’ve officially met the House.

Now there’s only one thing left to do:

Come meet us in person. 💜
