Branding and creativity are difficult concepts to conjure when entering the realm of entertainment. For a recorded music artist, what might simply start as a lyric — can become a song, a live performance, a tour, AND a music video.

For the lucky fan;
Maybe YOU can craft them a core memory.

We @clivedavisinst would love to graciously thank our returning CDI alumna @avangeliaa (co-founder of @thecirclebk ) as well as musical director + multi-instrumentalist @bobbyhallthe3rd and Hip-Hop/R&B rhythmic poet @authentic.intelligence for lending mentorship and wisdom to our @remusummerhs 2026 cohort. With conversations tracing artist branding, self-funding/merchandise, DIY techniques, live performances, venue booking and community building — SHS is now armed with the confidence to tackle their authenticity.

We would also like to happily re-welcome Oscar-Qualified NYC filmmaker @wesgoodrich97 to discuss the topic of music filmmaking during our annual @remusummerhs Music Video Masterclass.

Brooklyn stand up!
The champs are here. 🏆

We’re always grateful to have @clivedavisinst alumni return to our halls — but even more enthused when they can spare time to help educate and influence the institute’s next generations.

A warm thank you to @dom_didit and @viiqmusic for crafting an immaculate songwriting class for our Summer High School 2026 cohort ( with consultation from @mikeerrico ).

Get your pencils moving.
See where your story takes you.

That’s a wrap for our Summer High School 2025 program! In the last 4 weeks, our students visited Amazon Music, Carnegie Hall, Sony Hall, and got to enjoy three different shows: Buena Vista Social Club on Broadway, Tyler, The Creator at Barclays Center, and Gracie Abrams at Madison Square Garden. It’s been a whirlwind month and another #bestsummerever in the books! taken in Times Square, New York City by @remusummerhs
