𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲?

Do we really have the assurance that our Barangay officials will do their jobs with transparency and integrity as they continue to hold the positions they have been entrusted with? Do we really think that newly elected officials do not have the capacity to give their best for their Barangay and serve the people who placed their trust in them?

‎People deserve the freedom to elect the Barangay officials they believe are capable of serving their community. It doesn't mean that by postponing this election, we will finally see the light in the darkness of our Barangay or our country. Real change does not simply come from postponing an election, but from giving people the freedom to choose their leaders and holding those leaders accountable for their responsibilities.

‎I sincerely hope that those elected Barangay officials will fulfill their duties with integrity, transparency, and genuine dedication to the people—not for their own interests, but for the welfare of the entire Barangay.
‎
‎Let us open our eyes and minds. Let us not immediately doubt the capacity of newly elected officials to serve, but let us also never turn a blind eye to their responsibilities. Give them the opportunity to prove themselves, but never forget that leadership comes with accountability.
‎
‎Because the question is not only whether our leaders are capable of serving, but whether they are truly willing to serve the people who trusted them. And as citizens, we must remain aware, vigilant, and courageous enough to demand the transparency and accountability that our community deserves.
