My baby girl that changed my life since I was 19 (for 11 whole years!!!) has gone to doggy heaven tonight, at age 17-18. She had an emergency surgery after eating 11 rocks when she was wandering outside (which she had never done before, possibly from dementia). Her surgery was successful, but as the vet had warned, her old body may not be strong enough to heal from the surgery. she was always a fighter who loved life, so I wanted her to push through, but it was time for her to cross the bridge. She brought me so much joy, she kept me going through everything, and brought me outside on so many cool adventures because I wanted her to experience everything. I selfishly wanted more years with her, but the reality of life is that dogs lives are way too freaking short.
Rest in peace my sweet Coraline. Thank you for making me the happiest I’ve ever been, and it’ll be hard to learn how to live without you. by @rena_frampton
