the eternal sunshine tour

i don’t know how many times i’ve daydreamed about this moment. from the first time i discovered @arianagrande, i knew i wanted to see her live one day.

i grew up with her music through some of the best and hardest moments of my life, especially when i moved to another country and started over from scratch. somehow, her songs always made things feel a little easier.

more than ten years later, after technically crossing four continents, i finally got to see my personal therapist live. quite a story arc, if you ask me. i still don’t think i’ve fully processed it.

this week also gave me hampstead, the place behind the song that means the most to me, wicked on stage, and time with friends who were brave enough to leave home and explore the world too.

i don’t know how many dreams i managed to fit into one week, but my heart feels very full.

k bye for now… but i’m pretty sure there will be a next time. 🫧

Uno.

Hace un año me subí a un avión sin saber exactamente a dónde me estaba llevando esta decisión.

Solo sentía que necesitaba un cambio.

Dejé todo lo que conocía en Perú -mi gente, mis rutinas, mi zona segura- para empezar algo completamente nuevo en el otro lado del mundo.

Hubo días buenos, otros no tanto. Trabajos, madrugadas, aprendizajes raros, gente de todos los rincones del mundo,
conversaciones que me cambiaron la forma de ver las cosas.

Aprendí a confiar en mí, a soltar el control, a improvisar, a reírme del caos y reinventarme.

Entre cientos de playlists que me acompañaron en trenes, caminatas de noche y días eternos, encontré calma, motivación y a veces solo ruido para seguir.

Hoy miro atrás y solo siento gratitud. No porque todo haya salido perfecto (spoiler: no fue así), sino porque cada paso, cada persona y cada momento me transformó.

Fue un año de muchas cosas y que podría repetir una y otra vez. Y aunque no tengo idea de todo lo que viene, sólo sé que mañana es otro día. taken in Australia by @renadrigo
