A butterfly is usually seen as the end of a transformation.

Mine doesn’t look finished…she’s still becoming.

Pieces are lifting away, Smaller butterflies emerging…It’s less about looking back at what “broke me” and more about watching resilience happen in real time.

I spent a long time wishing I could go back to who I was before, But maybe healing isn’t one transformation.

Maybe it’s a thousand tiny ones.

Breaking apart…
Becoming…
Breaking again…
Becoming someone new each time.

I don’t want to go back anymore.
I’d rather become someone stronger than she ever had to be.

Kentucky, you’ve been fun!!
Another weekend full of basketball, long days, and watching these girls leave it all on the court. So proud of this team and everything they accomplished. 🏀🖤

Fifteen… how are we already here.

Watching you grow into the young woman you are today has been one of the greatest joys of my life. You are strong, funny, kind, stubborn (just a little 😏), and capable of so much more than you realize.

Freshman year has been filled with basketball games, flag football, new friendships, new adventures, and so many moments that have made me proud to be your mom. Whether you’re on the court, with your teammates, or just being your goofy self at home, you have a way of making the people around you smile.

Took a trip to check out Harry P Leu Garden!! 50 acres of trails, butterfly, rose, & bamboo gardens and so much more. All on the side of a lake… on a hot Florida day. ☀️🌿

My 3 year old mama’s boys after being separated from me for a devastating 3 hours 😂💙🩵
Came home from Matti’s flag game and immediately got tackled like I’d been gone for weeks 🥹
