POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

DOUGLA will be part of @modarts_dance’s #MoveToChange Dance Festival screening online from Oct 5th to 25th 2026.

The film gathers around this year’s theme, Ujima: Collective Work and Responsibility, with its own questions around how collective life is remade through relating through our differences.

Deep gratitude to the festival organizers for making space for Caribbean stories and for inviting us into this wider conversation on community making. 🤍

You can see the performances in person, via livestream, or on demand.

A group of friends’ post-jourvert party hike goes wrong, after their disregard for the forest awakens something they didn’t anticipate. 🎋

Bois continues to screen throughout the region! This October, you can screen it at @1261filmfestival in Grenada. 🫈 by @renaldo868

Our intention in this dance was to listen to what is genuinely happening between our bodies and not protect the other from being changed by the experience.

Can we be in relation if nothing is affected or risked?

DOUGLA, a screendance exploring Afro-Indo relational politics through an encounter between Moko Jumbie and Odissi practice will be screened at @1261filmfestival Grenada this October.

Featuring the incredible @thegoldenmoko

More information on the festival and its brilliant lineup of films can be found on their (gorgeously designed) website at www.1261filmfestival.com by @renaldo868

DOUGLA is travelling to Toronto!

We are so overjoyed to share that our screendance has been officially selected for Screen Share: Caribbean Stories, Collective Power 2026 presented by @caribbeantales and @caribbeanfilmfest

DOUGLA will screen on September 12th as part of their Living Legacies programme, thoughtfully placing the film in conversation with the crosscurrents of migration, ancestral memory, cultural politics and survival.

We are grateful to everyone who helped bring this work into being and honoured to share it with audiences in Toronto. 🤍 by @renaldo868

@teddysrp came to me with an idea he wanted to explore at his wedding. So I put a small team together with @jelaniserrette and @ty9ese, slap the gear on the truck And made it happen.
