ARM THE DOLLS understands garments as contemporary protective gear: the collection embraces an attitude of inviolability and unapologetic visibility — clothing as an object of protection, expression and power. A textile counter-narrative to societal erasure that consciously defends visibility. Inspired by the construction and function of armor, the garments are modular and adaptable, allowing the silhouettes to evolve alongside a body in transition, and an ongoing process of self-definition. The collection turns transformation and reconstruction into protective tools for self-assertion, power and control over one’s own body.

in addition to creating headpieces under the direction of @chrishabana for collaboration with @theophilio, we 3D modelled, lasercut, cast the traditional jewelry pieces, created lightweight oversized “TP“ branded hoop earrings, matching chokers, as well as gold cowrie embellished hoop earrings and necklaces, certain jewelry staples were further embellished with crystals, while other left in a polished 14kgold. For their SPRING/SUMMER 2024 - OUT OF MANY ONE PEOPLE - collection continued celebrating identity. & how it represents the subsequent chapter following their HOMECOMING SS23 theme.
